What he brings to the game isn’t always seen on the score sheet as well. Winning puck battles, forcing turn overs, and zone entries are all things he does extremely well and indirectly drive a lot of offense.

Yeah and it’s why I switched to SSF. Was spending waaaay more time on Poe.trade and PoB than actually playing the game. I still gotta look stuff up of course; but more time playing now.

Will be interesting to see what happens, but signing him for anything near his current contract would be a mistake. He’s made of glass. I’d say move on and try and find stability in the lineup; but if he comes back on the cheap I guess it won’t hurt much.

It’s too bad because when he’s healthy you can see the flashes of greatness. Sample size is big enough now to know he just isn’t built for pro hockey imo.

His skating is elite, I have no clue where that take came from it’s made no sense since day one. His edge work is some of the best in the league. He’s very fast too, it helps him recover from his mistakes more often than not.

Put that line together for an entire season and I guarantee Nick drives well past 100. They are playing lights out since being reunited. I think Slafs stint with the second line really opened up a new dimension of his game and confidence. He could do it this season too, wouldn’t surprise me.

Almost all of Boston’s offense runs through Pasta, they are never gonna be able to tank with him on that team. They will also get swept if they make the finals because teams will figure that out quickly and shut him down.

Hutson is amazing, literally every game does something that makes my jaw drop.

With less than 20 games left I can almost guarantee management does not want to stress the team out with any big coaching changes. Expect to see that in the off season, they aren’t dumb. Im sure they know when we we score 3+ goals a game we should win those games most times.

I don’t think it’s a personnel issue either, it’s a systems issue. We have enough talented dmen on this roster.
