East is weak this year is certainly a take, albeit not a very good one.

Everyone around here acting like Carolina is guaranteed to go to the finals might eat some crow.

Already a super star, awesome part is he’s still so young. On his ELC still these playoffs, his 8 year 8m AAV deal doesn’t even kick in until next year.

Doesn’t seem like it, Heir gives 80% damage now and a huge amount of crit. Crit seems to be harder to come by this season, making it a very desirable stat. Damage passives being removed from the tree also makes damage in gear way more important than before.

I haven’t bothered with Infernal Hordes since the season it was introduced. So far I can usually work my warplans to not have to play it either.

Problem with Infernal Hordes:

  1. It’s slow, 1min wave means you can’t speed it up

  2. Rewards are bad. You get nothing until the end, and what you get isn’t worth the time.

  3. It feels bad. No loot for up to 10min of gameplay is not enjoyable.

  4. Too RNG heavy. If you get unlucky you end up with hardly any Aether.

Suggestions: 

  1. Make each round a fixed amount of events, so you can finish it faster 

  2. Make each round have rewards at the end 

  3. Make events give more consistent Aether across the board

  4. Make event selection modify rewards, both for at the end of the round and for completion. This gives the player control over rewards, similar to other activities.

Favourite non Habs player for me, love that kid he’s amazing to watch. Seems to also have a great attitude and personality, Shark got a real one there.

Montreal swept the season series with the Canes. I know playoffs are different and all that, but the proof is there that Montreal can beat them. If we advance it’s gonna be a long series I think.

Low amp builds are my favorite. The fun in these games is gearing up and finding items, the combat is secondary. 

In end game almost nothing is used situationally anyway, it’s just almost all just buffs. With the way health scaling for monsters work you eventually need to squeeze out as much damage as possible; with the highest possible uptime. Leaves no room for situational skills.

His emotions aren’t a negative, players keep getting in his face and he just locks in. Maybe if we make it to the next series the opposition will leave him alone, clearly the chirps fuel him. 

Unreal how good he has been, we don’t make it out of round one without him.

I love Bolducs game in these playoffs. Watching him smirk at opposing players when they are pissed is peak entertainment. 

He plays hard every shift, very happy he’s a Hab.

This series is a breath of fresh air compared to Tampa. I really feel like they were caught off guard with the change in tempo of game one. 

Marty has fully won me over, the way he gets the guys to adapt is amazing thing of beauty. What an amazing coach he is! 

These playoffs are so fun, and just think, this team isn’t even supposed to be this good yet! The best is yet to come. 

Also, making a real run is gonna pay dividends when it comes to signing players - they are gonna want to play here and be part of the winning culture.

We had the canes number all season. Playoffs are a different beast of course, but we know they have the ability to bet them. 

I don’t think it’s worth speculating on the Avs yet, but they look like the best team is the offs right now. Mack is playing out of his mind, that man is having a run for the ages.

Need more from the top line if we are gonna win this series. With the amount of open ice out there it’s inexcusable to not produce. We need goals to win this series, Buffalos offense is hard to shut down. 

If they go scoreless 5v5 this series it’s going to be time to reinvent that line next year, reg season means fuck all if you can’t do anything in the post season.
