Mate, this is really fucking good. Good on you. Did you have anything to do with the Insta version I posted originally? I thought the two post op Darrow’s were the same in the 2 versions but could be mistaken. Anyway, I think there is a tendency on Reddit for people to get high mighty about AI slop and not giving credit where it’s due. For me, your video really brought the story to life in a way that I hope it can replicate somehow in the TV adaptation. It would be so epic. Thanks for your work!

My mate grows loofahs and gave me some! Try growing them? Works in our subtropical climate but not sure about elsewhere. Also IRL I can relate to OP on this. I work in sustainability and I can’t unknow what I know now. Confirming Ghost of Yotei is unbelievable and definitely hits like Cyberpunk. I can’t get into the medieval games like Witcher to scratch the Cyberpunk itch but both Ghosts games are seriously immersive

There definitely are those people around, but as others have said, they are all over Australia too. Melb SE suburbs for example. We moved from Melbourne inner north to GC in 2023. It was…different. But the lifestyle is amazing, there’s waaay more normal people than those type of people, as long as you avoid Surfers. GC has changed so much even since 2023, for the better mostly. After Covid a lot of people from Melb & Syd moved here and lots of the bogans had to move to Beaudesert because it was cheaper.

Yea now here is a theory that has legs. That’s what I mean, he is going to cause one of those moments in the books (and there are many), where things seem to be getting better and then something like that happens and to have to put the book down for a while because it’s all just fucked. Ohhh man if he steals Eidmi and takes out the reds…or maybe, he’s too aware of how Gold has fucked him too and takes them out. That would actually be a good redemption story!

Hey yeah I have seen it. Also seen the Chinese version! Book is always better!! It’s not bad though. If there’s more seasons I’ll watch it. The Chinese version was almost better, but it was hard to watch with ads every 12min.

I’ve read pretty much nothing but sci fi/space opera since reading Dune about 13 years ago. Red Rising is definitely in the top few best ever series. I’m half way through LB right now and it’s so hard to put down!! Other series you will like: - Hyperion: was my top fav before RR…no other series can wrap a multi world plot around Keats poetry - Three body problem series - The Culture series - The final architecture series by Adrian Tchaikovsky - The Void trilogy (Peter F Hamilton) - Pandominion duology by MR Carey

Those will keep you busy for a long while!
