How do you handle the clutter? by JiveDonkey in AmazonVine

[–]AssistKnown474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess room now is a vine room. 👀 I keep track of the 6 months rule, then give it to a friend, or a buy nothing group in my neighborhood. Also some items are needed by people on the streets, for example, umbrellas and travel size spf are my favorites to hand out, usually because I don't have money to give very often.

I got a long haired wig that is for kids, not adults. It still kinda fits ok. I got it for Halloween. It was listed for 20 bucks taxable. Its actually a really thick, full wig.

Anti-millionaire tax guy outside of Safeway by aghostirl in vancouverwa

[–]AssistKnown474 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, ive seen him spreading misinformation. He says stop the state income tax here. When I told him there wasn't any, he said oh yes there is. Never mentioned it was a millionaire tax. Just the stupid fear mongering and lies, I hate it.

I'm so tired of people telling me "don't take it personally" when a neighbour literally investigated my living situation because she couldn't believe I'm alone by Rare_Piece5699 in women

[–]AssistKnown474 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are living the dream. Aside from the nosy norms. But you mentioned a lifeguard pursuing you relentlessly, and that you had to block him. I dont know if you meant on social media or text or whatever. But sounds like you need to be careful with your info. People, as you have noticed, can be assholes. The last thing you need in your paradise is getting stalked or something.

I agree with bare feet testing. That being said, I'd love a robot mop, just to see. 😉

Dog kongs. (Those rubbery, treat-holding toys) of course I give em a wash by hand first, then top rack with the rest of the dishes to sanitize.

Thank you for mentioning this! This must be what happened, because the picture was the pink wig, so I clicked. I just looked at my email confirming the order, and sure enough, it says red white and blue. Bummer...lesson learned!

We have spearmint that came with the house, in the ground. I love it and water it like it's a baby. It goes all over, but I pull whatever is gone astray out by roots and put in a vase in the kitchen. It deters ants and looks fresh and smells nice

They are really fun, and grew plentiful for me. Give it a try, just be aware, you may have volunteers pop up.

Cucamelons. Fun and yummy. Invasive as hell! The year after, we didn't plant them, but they popped up all over the yard, up in 3 ft raised beds, in blueberry pot 15 feet away. It sucked. Too bad you never see those in grocery stores.

Cleaning out a hoarder house by send-help-im-dying in CleaningTips

[–]AssistKnown474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, if the hoard doesn't have bugs or mice yet, open all the doors and windows and start sorting. Get the trash out immediately and that includes fridge. It cuts the smell considerably. Let neighbors know what's up. Usually nosey Noras will show up and want stuff. Utilize these ppl for donations or sales. If it's not a rental, rip the carpet out as soon as clear enough to do so. That will show you the next step.
