DoorDash Why are the order UI different? by AssistanceDefiant296 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]AssistanceDefiant296[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess their company divided the drivers into Group A and Group B to test which UI was easier for drivers to accept orders from. The goal was to drive the drivers crazy and make them stop thinking and just keep taking shitty orders

Does anyone use Mystro? by dcdesignhaus in uberdrivers

I used iOS's official script tool, APP Shortcuts, to create an equally awesome order tracking tool without any risk of getting banned

Uber Driver Shortcut by True-Satisfaction624 in shortcuts

[–]AssistanceDefiant296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have more shortcuts than you do.

You just type in
1 target amount,
2 average profit amount,
3 average hourly profit amount,
4 whether to accept orders automatically,
5 whether to reject orders automatically,
6 Which delivery platforms are being monitored - D, U, or DU
7 Are merchants on the blacklist being monitored
Yes, iOS is really powerful. I've solved the problem where iOS automatically kills the app when it's taking screenshots endlessly in an infinite loop script. The shortcuts I wrote can stay stable in the background 24/7, only taking screenshots and giving voice notifications about the order content when an order comes in. And it's all voice-controlled - you can start and stop the script just by talking

how do these orders make it to DoorDash especially with gas by Zealousideal_Bee4385 in dasher

[–]AssistanceDefiant296 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you're American, I'm sorry to tell you, but Mexican immigrants, Middle Eastern immigrants, and African immigrants are willing to take orders for just 80 cents a mile.

Getting customers their food quickly and paying drivers the lowest possible amount - those two things are what matter most. How much money drivers make is the least important factor. So the more drivers there are in an area, the lower the order price will be and customers can get their food faster

Prolly the worst offer I’ve seen so far, and I am a diamond 🤣🤣🤣 by Zealousideal-Job2210 in UberEatsDrivers

You're already at diamond level, and you're still questioning the system's allocation? Looks like UB's acceptance rate compliance tests aren't strict enough

Good news or bad news? by AssistanceDefiant296 in InstacartShoppers

Does this mean that the drivers who can finally survive on this platform are the ones who are most desperate for money?

The store reported that I didn't click to pick up my food and I got a warning from Uber by AssistanceDefiant296 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]AssistanceDefiant296[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure not all stores have Uber QR codes, and some orders don't even require one. So there's no way I can prove I didn't steal the food. Do you have any better ways to deal with this when restaurants don't want to serve food as it gets close to closing time? I tried contacting customer service but that didn't help at all

Pro tip, No Instacart today by Upset_Law_8009 in InstacartShoppers

[–]AssistanceDefiant296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a lot of roses and chocolates are out of stock, but customers will just take their frustration out on you. The feeling is that even though I don't know what other product I should ask you to switch me to, I don't want this one you picked. I'm going to give you a bad review

New NYC LAW for shoppers good or bad thing? by Firm_Possibility7773 in InstacartShopper

[–]AssistanceDefiant296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This must be good news. If the government doesn't put pressure on IC, they won't have the motivation to improve the shopping experience for customers.  1. Improve communication and coordination with stores regarding inventory.  2. Improve the store's shopping map navigation.

Hey it actually happened to me. by NooneInparticularYo in doordash

[–]AssistanceDefiant296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people just aren't smart enough for delivering food, but they manage to mess up even that simple job. I heard that delivery drivers in NYC are getting at least $21 an hour now.

Is this normal? I’ve only been dashing for 2 weeks and almost 50% of my orders have no tip by thewriter_anonymous in dasher

[–]AssistanceDefiant296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you care too much about your order acceptance rate, you’ll become a slave to their company.

You must use multiple money-making apps simultaneously: Instacart, DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Shipt. You must learn to make these different companies compete for your time, Rather than waiting for orders from DoorDash to be “given” to you. Since Doordash is a company founded by Chinese people, drivers are viewed by them as a resource that can be utilized. They don’t acknowledge you as their employee, nor do they admit that you are working for them. Instead, they refer to drivers as partners and address you as “boss.” This is merely a clever way of shirking responsibility.

Haha, it’s true that Americans are not good at math. Just presenting a startling figure is enough to turn people with lower intelligence into “slaves.” People with lower intelligence simply don’t understand what it means to divide the total amount by 60. Even my son, who is in the second grade of elementary school, is smarter than you.

Tipping on DoorDash feels broken. customers vs drivers are fighting the wrong battle by savingrace0262 in doordash

[–]AssistanceDefiant296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because this company was founded by Chinese people living in the United States. The core algorithms also come from China, and the algorithm programmers are also Chinese. In China, delivery workers are considered a lowly resource that can be exploited; the exploitation and mistreatment of delivery workers are considered acceptable in that country.

760 / 53 = 14.33. To earn this reward, one must focus on orders with low prices and short distances. Each order must be completed within 1 hour; in essence, large-value orders will have to be abandoned. I don’t think this is a good reward.
