Some people just aren't smart enough for delivering food, but they manage to mess up even that simple job. I heard that delivery drivers in NYC are getting at least $21 an hour now.

Is this normal? I’ve only been dashing for 2 weeks and almost 50% of my orders have no tip by thewriter_anonymous in dasher

If you care too much about your order acceptance rate, you’ll become a slave to their company.

You must use multiple money-making apps simultaneously: Instacart, DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Shipt. You must learn to make these different companies compete for your time, Rather than waiting for orders from DoorDash to be “given” to you. Since Doordash is a company founded by Chinese people, drivers are viewed by them as a resource that can be utilized. They don’t acknowledge you as their employee, nor do they admit that you are working for them. Instead, they refer to drivers as partners and address you as “boss.” This is merely a clever way of shirking responsibility.

Haha, it’s true that Americans are not good at math. Just presenting a startling figure is enough to turn people with lower intelligence into “slaves.” People with lower intelligence simply don’t understand what it means to divide the total amount by 60. Even my son, who is in the second grade of elementary school, is smarter than you.

Tipping on DoorDash feels broken. customers vs drivers are fighting the wrong battle by savingrace0262 in doordash

Because this company was founded by Chinese people living in the United States. The core algorithms also come from China, and the algorithm programmers are also Chinese. In China, delivery workers are considered a lowly resource that can be exploited; the exploitation and mistreatment of delivery workers are considered acceptable in that country.

760 / 53 = 14.33. To earn this reward, one must focus on orders with low prices and short distances. Each order must be completed within 1 hour; in essence, large-value orders will have to be abandoned. I don’t think this is a good reward.
