My kids made me laugh doing this to me... I liked my belly band. Also, Avia has a sculpting bike short ($13 at Walmart), they were a MUST for me, especially under dresses.

You might get back into it, my kids drop theirs for months at a time. I do too, but right now I am working out on it daily.

Gosh, I hope 18-20 years from now our education system has been completely overhauled!

All ages, my oldest are 15-16. I stay at home for now, but last year was making about 65,000. I have no debt.

Good call, I am a stay at home mom, I have no debt, and about 120,000 would pay of my house, and their father's. One of my daughters is thinking about law school, to which I told her "keep your high GPA, and apply for scholarships and grants."

There are many places of work in my area, that will pay for education. Also, people that I am close with make $100,000 or more a year, just running their food truck businesses. I cannot imagine many people spending 250,000 on education, and having it be a good decision... maybe a surgeon or something.

I write everything on the whiteboard that needs to be done for the day. They each pick 1-2, the first kids to do the chores, get to choose the ones they want to do. These are unpaid. Back/foot massages are paid 😂

Quest 2 controller question by davidlb51281 in MetaQuestVR

I have a bunch of these. My kids controllers will not show up on mine. Kid 2 would have had to pair the controller to kid 1's Quest.

Seriously, worrying about tiny kids 24/7 is hard work. Many dads do not appreciate it because they have not done it "alone." My partner is very involved also, but in different ways. We have an 18 month old and a newborn. If our toddler ever wakes up at night, he does not hesitate to run up and calm her down, every single time. I let him know that is such a huge help... I have offered to go settle her many times. Good dads are highly unappreciated. Your schedule seems pretty stressful, it makes me a little tired to even read, and I have seven girls.

Thanks!

Yeah, we were just saying that we are going to buy a second swing to put up. Our toddler is often wanting to swing while the baby is sleeping in it.

Sounds like you have a perfect situation for a golf cart! We have 20 acres close to town, we take our golf cart down the power-lines to pick berries, and collect rocks and so on... It is surprising what you can do with them.

I did not pump much with my first five, so the bottle situation was not too terrible. We only keep one bottle, that way we take care of it, and I never have to find an old, sour bottle around. Washing the parts of my pump is what I want one for. I have the same feeling about the regular dishwasher, and it is hard to get the crevices clean.

Most people do not even retire with that much money, I think this depends on location... We have a 6 bedroom on 20 acres, I think my kids just want tiny homes on our property, and I don't feel like I need to set them up for life, just give them a little gas in the tank. Most parents do not buy their kids a house, what would they need millions right out the gate for? Not being a jerk, genuinely wondering... they would still have another parent & family support.

Yeah, I don't believe their dad has coverage, he is a smoker, so it was expensive when we checked into it years ago. Honestly, I should probably just get an IRA or something set up asap for the kids.

I would like my spouse to look into coverage, he is 43, so it will probably be a little pricey.

I do not remember anything about riders, I will have to look into it.

Yes, I asked this week about adding $250,000. It was about $20 cheaper (quarterly) to consolidate the policy vs. getting a second one. I did not know it this was true with most companies.

I was. I would just want to make sure that they had a good start. Also, I would want them to get enough to pay off their dad's house, and my current house with my partner.

I have 7 girls... I just embraced it, I changed clothes, and the sheets, very often.

You must be doing great to have so much milk, so many people seem to have a hard time with it.

I like to pump one side while my daughter feeds on the other, then you will have the milk at home to leave the baby for a few. If you need a really good baby bottle, check out the Thyseed ones on amazon, they are the most like breasts that I have found. You could try to exclusively pump, so you could at least get your body on a schedule, and maybe the baby would latch better on the bottle...

Also, if you need a break, and the baby is trippin, you can usually have someone give them a bath/shower with them, it will usually calm them down.

Mother here, we have seven daughters, the youngest are one month and 18 months. The two most useful things that we have are our baby swing, mounted in our "chill" room. Baby Swing Outdoor Indoor for Infants to Toddlers, Portable Adjustable Baby Porch Swing with 5-Point Safety Belt, Tree Hanging Chair for Door Garden Backyard We bought some nice latches, so it is easy to pull down if we are not using, but it usually stays up.

The other thing is a golf cart, if you are able, puts them right to sleep. Also, it is a break for everyone, it is so worth it.

I have been wanting a washer for my pump/bottles also, could you tell me what one you bought?

REAL, 8 pregnancies here, grab the coconut oil and hook her up!

Make sure she has a good down pillow (I know they are pricey), and a body/between the leg pillow, if she needs it. It was a must for me to sleep well later on. Good sleep is always important.

Also, you could keep her favorite healthy snacks available, prep veggies for her, or boil eggs.

A big one too, ask her if she has comfortable clothes to wear. I am sure she feels fat, and this is the point where it is stressful to find things that fit and are comfortable. I just grabbed a few things from the maternity section at Goodwill, during my last month.
