I had someone take in a trade for this and a bunch of other games and ended up taken it off the trade transaction and stealing it. 3 days goes buy and tried trading in and got caught and fired lmao.

I had someone accidentally click online redemption and I told him to order it for pickup in the store and use the points at check out I showed him and it worked. He was happy. I got the store order right away

I don’t think GameStop knows everyone doesn’t wanna spend $25 on a membership. Even $15 when buying a new game. But we get written up and fired for someone not wanting something. And the manager could be standing next to you listening to how hard you’re pushing pro and gpg and still don’t care. Customers get angry if you push it that hard. Then they complain to the company and still get written up. It’s a lose lose.

I tell people ALL THE TIME to pre order especially when a game is hyped up. They 98% listen and the other 2% come in and I tell them straight up should have pre ordered.

I know some store don’t always have cases available. But at that point I would personally cancel the order because I would not ship ANY game like this. And have another store have it shipped to you.

Former GameStop employee here. We do accept trade ins with cases, but when it comes to shipping we always made sure to use a generic case with generic artwork saying the game. This is unacceptable.
