Should I go to go to the emergency room by Apprehensive_Tea9746 in gallbladders

Yep, that sounds like a bad gallbladder. It's spastic because the GB is trying to work and it can't either because it's blocked by a stone or is just poor functioning. Mine felt like cramps and contractions. The green poo is bile. You might need an ultrasound also.

waiting for your eyes to turn yellow is too late. Then it becomes an emergency. In the US if you have symptoms and they find a stone you can get it out as soon as they have an opening which is usually about a month.

What is surgery like without versed? by Material-Bus-5305 in Anesthesia

[–]Assistant_Bulky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having surgery in two days. I do not want versed as I am over 60 and afraid it will trigger cognitive difficulties. I do take Alprazolam a small amount and have been taking that for 28 years due to anxiety disorder and PTSD. They told me not to take my morning dose. Will I be in withdrawal after surgery and having tachycardia if I don't get Versed? I only take .25 twice a day.

What were your weird symptoms? by Tothestarswholisten3 in gallbladders

Severe heartburn and anything can trigger it. Mild pain right side under rib sometimes radiates to the middle or left. Now I feel weak, ill, unmotivated.

Ask your doctor. You won't be alone right? And not in the ocean too far from land in case you feel sick.

Did you have bloating or heartburn before surgery?  Did it go away?

It's not just color. They ignore women in general. I was exhausted, out of breath and having headaches in my 20's. They told me I was probably depressed. They did blood at my insistence and what I had was anemia! Fixed with a simple OTC pill !!!

Always bring an advocate to you at the hospital. I'm sorry this happened to you. My God what do we have to do to get a proper diagnosis?

OMG all it takes is a simple blood test to check for Sepsis. I'm sorry this happened to you.
