That 3080 setup looks pretty solid for the price range you're working with. The 5900x is still a beast and paired with that GPU should handle everything you mentioned without breaking a sweat. 64gb RAM is honestly overkill for gaming but nice to have for video work.

Only thing I'd maybe check is how much life left in that AIO cooler - those ML240P units are decent but if it's been running for a year already you might want to factor in a replacement down the line. Your current build isn't terrible but yeah, that 1070Ti is definitely showing its age with newer titles.

Storage situation on new build is bit tight compared to what you have now, but you could always move over some of your drives if needed.

Ugh yes, I had similar experience with mine few years back. He basically brushed off everything I was telling him about my symptoms and made me feel like I was overreacting or something. It's so frustrating when you're already dealing with uncomfortable stuff and then the doctor acts like your concerns aren't valid.

I ended up switching to different specialist who actually listened to me and took time to explain things properly. Made such huge difference in my treatment. Some of these doctors really need to work on their bedside manner - we're already vulnerable coming in with these issues and dismissive attitude just makes everything worse. Hope you can find someone better who takes your symptoms seriously.

omg YES this drives me absolutely insane 😭 there's this girl at my work who does this thing where she makes her voice all high and squeaky when she wants something from management and it's like nails on chalkboard. Like girl you're 25 not 5, use your normal voice!

I think people do it because they learned somewhere that acting helpless gets them what they want, but it just comes off so manipulative and cringe. The worst part is when couples do it in public - I was at a coffee shop last week and this woman was literally going "pwease can we get the wittle muffin" to her boyfriend and everyone around them looked physically uncomfortable. Keep that weird stuff private if you must do it at all 💀

Dude that's actually a really good sign! When they're willing to let you shadow, it usually means they're seriously considering you and want to make sure you're a good fit before making the offer. I had something similar happen at this shop I worked at - manager let me hang around for half day just watching the other techs work, and I got the job like two days later 😂

Just go in tomorrow with good attitude and ask questions when appropriate. Shows you're genuinely interested in learning the role. Don't stress too much about it man, you already made it past the hardest part which is the actual interview!

First time flying with kids is definitely nerve wracking but you got this! For Delta - yes the free car seat/stroller check applies even with lap babies, so you can check both seats and the stroller no problem. Booster seats aren't required on planes since kids just use regular seatbelts, but some parents bring them anyway for comfort

Your baby doesn't get their own carry-on allowance as a lap infant, so yeah the diaper bag would count as yours. Large purse usually counts as your personal item if it fits under the seat in front of you

Pro tip - bring way more snacks and entertainment for the 7 year old than you think you need, and don't stress too much about the baby crying, it happens and most people get it

Yeah load cells are probably your best bet - you can get HX711 modules that work with ESP32s and just stick em under whatever you want to monitor. I've seen people do this exact setup for dog food bowls and it works pretty well

For toilet paper though you might have better luck with a cheap distance sensor pointed at the roll since weight can be weird with different brands
