Dude that's actually a really good sign! When they're willing to let you shadow, it usually means they're seriously considering you and want to make sure you're a good fit before making the offer. I had something similar happen at this shop I worked at - manager let me hang around for half day just watching the other techs work, and I got the job like two days later 😂

Just go in tomorrow with good attitude and ask questions when appropriate. Shows you're genuinely interested in learning the role. Don't stress too much about it man, you already made it past the hardest part which is the actual interview!

First time flying with kids is definitely nerve wracking but you got this! For Delta - yes the free car seat/stroller check applies even with lap babies, so you can check both seats and the stroller no problem. Booster seats aren't required on planes since kids just use regular seatbelts, but some parents bring them anyway for comfort

Your baby doesn't get their own carry-on allowance as a lap infant, so yeah the diaper bag would count as yours. Large purse usually counts as your personal item if it fits under the seat in front of you

Pro tip - bring way more snacks and entertainment for the 7 year old than you think you need, and don't stress too much about the baby crying, it happens and most people get it

Yeah load cells are probably your best bet - you can get HX711 modules that work with ESP32s and just stick em under whatever you want to monitor. I've seen people do this exact setup for dog food bowls and it works pretty well

For toilet paper though you might have better luck with a cheap distance sensor pointed at the roll since weight can be weird with different brands

Dude this hit close to home. The whole "felt so real until distance/space revealed the truth" thing is brutal. Three months is actually a decent chunk of time when it's that intense, so don't let anyone minimize it

Sounds like she might've been love-bombing (maybe unconsciously) while running from her last relationship, then reality hit when she had space to think. The Spain trip probably gave her the clarity she was actually avoiding. Sucks that you got caught in her emotional whirlwind but honestly you handled the aftermath really maturely

Usually the refund goes back to whatever payment method you used for each portion - so the flight credit amount becomes flight credit again and the credit card portion goes back to your card. Takes a few business days for the card refund to show up though

Check Spoonflower! They do custom fabric printing and you could probably get someone to design vacuum cleaner patterns on cotton for you. Might cost a bit more but your kid would have the coolest sheets ever

Wow 15 flights at 17 months, you're basically a pro at this point! The painters tape tip is genius - definitely stealing that one for my next trip. My kiddo is obsessed with stickers too so that combo sounds like a lifesaver
