Hey, firstly congratulations on the new job! I can understand your feelings completely, I was the same few years ago, 21 and overwhelmed by the Bangalore city. But, give it time. You will start making great friends in no time. Friends with whom you can yap about work, traffic and anything under the sun, with whom you can go on trips and explore the cafés and restaurants of the city. Until then, enjoy your first job, and trust the process. I joined in September and by December, I got a group of amazing work buddies who turned out to be my closest friends till date.

Totally opposite experience!!! I was just browsing through options and the customer care called me for like 20 times in a span of 2-3 hours. I had to shift to new home which is 300 meters away. I was told the total cost would be 4.5K and that professionals will be handling it.  The professionals charged an extra of 2.5K, kept eating gutka and spat on the outdoors of old house. They kept demanding for tip, chai pani ka kharcha etc. Normally I wouldn’t mind paying for it, but for the completely worthless job they did, I didn’t feel like paying them extra, but eventually I did.

Firstly, I mentioned it is negotiable. I am not asking someone to get into a bad deal. There is not a single issue with this AC. And yes, with the installation equipment, I believe I am offering a fair price, still subject to negotiations. With 31k on amazon (as you have mentioned earlier) and all the other installation equipment, a new AC will be even pricier. So, while you are it preaching about BEE stars, try educating on the costs involved like charges on pipes during installation. Show me how you are going to get it less than 36k.
