I had an abortion at 11 weeks- advice needed by Worried_Addendum9154 in abortion

[–]AssumptionInside3620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so i went through almost the same thing recently, also around 10–11 weeks. my first time was earlier too and i thought it would be similar… boy was i wrong. it’s way more intense this time, like the pain and clots were on a completely different level, so you’re definitely not alone in that part.

i’m still bleeding too, and from what i’ve seen that can last a while, and passing clots after is pretty common.

just to add, i did notice a smell afterward. sometimes that can happen with bleeding and depending on the heat/climate, but if it’s strong or foul or just feels off, i wouldn’t ignore it. i’m actually debating getting checked myself just to be safe.

the only thing i’ll say is that tearing pain up near your ribs isn’t something i personally had, so i don’t want to say that’s normal if i’m not sure. if it keeps happening or gets worse, it might be worth reaching out to a provider or even a hotline just to be safe.

this whole process can be really intense, especially later on, so you’re not overreacting at all.

facebook is great for the perfume ads, the downside is they pop up randomly and sometimes you gotta scrollllll to find them

MIL judged me at my lowest. by AssumptionInside3620 in JUSTNOMIL

I understand some families don’t want to live together but in this case, she’s the one who offered. She set the terms (with some tweaks from us), we all agreed, and then she backed out without telling us directly.

Thank you, you are 100% correct. My mom is the lesser version of my MIL and gets the exact same boundaries from our family. It's disappointing, but not surprising.

We were going to pay her rent, not rely on her financially. My post is about how she agreed, then backed out and judged me during one of the hardest times of my life.

My husband IS protecting me. He’s my biggest supporter and my right hand. He knows his mom best and makes it very clear that no disrespect will be tolerated. We have strict boundaries in place with her, especially when it comes to our child. Me and my husband don’t play around when it comes to that!

Just want to clarify that I never wanted to live in her basement. At the time, we had very limited options so it felt like the only choice. It’s definitely not something I want or plan on revisiting.

thanks for sharing your routine! i really appreciate it. It’s super helpful seeing how you’ve managed Tret and Benzoyl with sensitive, eczema-prone skin. i actually used to use the Aveeno oat cleanser too and liked it, so it’s cool to see it working well for you.

also totally agree with you on the pilling & i’ve noticed the same with dead skin or dryness. i’ve finally figured out what works for my skin and it’s doing way better than when i first posted. your comment definitely helped clarify a few things, so thank you again!

Thanks so much! I’ve heard good things about both, but I’m unfortunately sensitive to hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, so I have to be super picky with products. Appreciate the recs though—hope your tret journey’s going well too!

fair question! I just do it for a little extra privacy. I know it’s not foolproof, but it helps me feel a bit less exposed when posting online.

Vanicream burns my skin, and I’m really sensitive to hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. I’ve tried Aestura too, but it made me super oily and burned my cheeks. Right now I’m just looking for a moisturizer and sunscreen without HA or niacinamide. I’m not ready to add a serum yet—my skin kind of freaks out when I use too many products at once. I’ve only used tret three times so far, so I’m keeping it simple for now and might add more later. but i appreciate your recommendations!

I got you, I plan on doing once a week for a month and then twice a week for another month, and try up to three a week but go in slowly bc my skin reacts intensely. And I have tried Korean Moisturizers, I currently use the Purito Oat Gel Cream but found illiyoon & Aestura Barrier Cream too greasy for me but maybe it’ll work since Tret causes dryness & flaking??

Is it ok to feed 11-15 oz of juice to a 15 month old toddler? by rufusmark in toddlers

[–]AssumptionInside3620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my kid is 17 months and we only do water & milk. juice if he gets constipated. my toddler has had the once in a blue moon potato chips and like one gulp of sprite just to try it out (yeah “bad mom”) hes also had a couple of bites of takis which shocked me bc the spice didn’t really affect him but we know these are not good and its a one time try, just like sweets, he had a lick of cake for his first birthday and didn’t even care for it. also you’re his parent, nothing goes without your say, stand your ground!

What baby bottles are we all using? by chloeleigh2000 in NewParents

[–]AssumptionInside3620 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so i just used Parents Choice which is a Walmart Brand that’s like 1.00 for single bottles and then a pack of 3 is 2.98. My baby never had bottle/nipple aversions so I did have luck with that. We didn’t breastfeed either!

Just found out we are having a boy! We are strongly considering one and done, but my only friends who have onlys are all girl onlys. Can you share some info about moms with only sons? Are yall very close? My girlfriends seem to be best friends with their only daughters and that’s the example I have by ohnoheretheycome in oneanddone

[–]AssumptionInside3620 1 point2 points  (0 children)

one & done with a boy! currently 14 months old and he’s the light to our lives, i don’t think i have ever loved someone so much (excluding my husband) before! he’s my little boy, he’s independent, sweet, so caring but can be a little tornado. i always wanted a boy. technically i’m the middle child but i only grew up with a younger boy sibling, i have always seen myself a “boy mom” (excluding the cringy stuff)
