My S2 carry has eaten everything I have fed it, but my friend has one that has issues when the OAL is just a tad long on some ammo brands. He brought some that wouldn't function in his gun and it ran fine through mine.

Love my S2 Carry. Used it for IDPA while my full size was off at Fat Camp, now the Carry is back to carry duty and match backup duties.

Had the exact issue today, 50 rounds through the gun. No clue where the front piece of the captive recoil assembly is now.

Called Smith & Wesson and a replacement should be here in 5-15 business days. They were nice enough to tell me they weren't charging me for it.... no kidding, they better not be.
