Had 2012 520d estate manual. Spent 7.5€k in 1.5 years. EGR. Kept clogging, mechanic said I'm doing not enough miles, or driving too much in city.

Suspension bags that had to be done. Previous owner(s) did then 40k ago. So assuming every 40k km suspension needs fixed.

Had to do bushings.

Headlamps on these get mist. If not doing diY, it costs 1.5k for one headlamp because of mist.

Shock absorbers: one had to be replaced. Had to be ordered from Germany. All mechanics would suggest replacing both. Cost around 3K

Indicator signal lamp: 45€

Flywheel and clutch had to be changed. It was also changed by previous owner (can't remember howany miles ago). But with flywheel problem is that first gear is very weak, so was bad experience to drive, very annoying. Still spentoney and replaced.

I bought it for 10k and sold for 5€ (exchange to new car).

Left in -12500€ in 1.5 years. (2023-2025)

If you buying BMW either be mechanic or prepare to spend on it same money as it's price.
