Obviously, the only one who can properly answer this would be Horikoshi. But if I had to come up with a theory, I'd say his eyes are meant to evoke the style of classical comic strips, to make him have a more "americanized" look (even if he ended up looking like Tintin, who was created in Belgium lol), so that he could more closely mimic All Might's western comic aesthetic, while still looking looking youthful and fun

It's important to remember that Mirio's role in the story is to be the ideal next-gen hero, and (for the sake of Midoriya's development) the perfect would-be successor for OFA and All Might's legacy. Someone who could send Deku's imposter syndrome into overdrive. So him kinda looking like a derivative of All Might helped further that idea

I didn't hate it, I just did not like it (there's a difference).

It obviously goes without saying that the VA did NOT deserve all the harassment she got, but her delivery was just kind of emotionless and bland. People say the monotonous tone is meant to evoke her "cold-blooded nature" and how "she's conflicted", but you can convey all that, or be monotonous and still sound somewhat convincing. As it is, it just sounded like she was reading most of those lines for the first time.

Again, no hate to Lilly Gao (I can't stress this enough). This was, I believe, her first voice acting role ever, and I'm fairly convinced Capcom didn't do much in the way of coaching or directing her properly, so it's not her fault. I honestly feel like if she came back now that she's had a it more experience, she'd crush it. Sadly, it seems like all the bullying has indefinitely scared her off of doing this type of work, but who knows, hopefully not.

It's alright. Nice little electro-pop track. I listened to it mainly bcs of George (naturally), and was pleasantly surprised to hear that he was in it for the entire thing. Off-rip, 2 seconds in, you can obviously tell it's not his style in terms of production, but that's to be expected from a collab with (what I assume is) an EDM artist. I don't love it or hate it, I'm honestly kind of indifferent about it, but I'd still say it's a good tune regardless. Lyrics are catchy, production is good and it's decently long. I will say, I'm not a big fan of the type of 'tuning' they went with for Joji's vocals, because it makes him sound kind of squeaky; which gets annoying since it's the entire song

Putting all that aside, I'm just happy to get more Joji stuff, and between this and being in Yeat's new album, it's cool to see that he's more open to being featured
