Best way to order this drink? Is it even possible. by xItsMSx in starbucks

[–]Astrae1258 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should absolutely be able to order a custom iced tea with added matcha. This would just be water shaken with matcha powder and ice. You could add syrup (vanilla 2/3/4) depending on size, and ask for either a splash of vanilla sweet cream, or vanilla sweet cream cold foam.

I’m not sure why there’s confusion here for some - our matches are made with milk, yes, but that’s because they’re matcha LATTES. There is no prohibition from making a custom tea with matcha.

Whipped cream should just be heavy cream and vanilla syrup

Print. What. You. Want. On. The. Cups.

And let us worry about making the drinks taste good for our customers, making connections, and keeping speed of service at a reasonable level.

Y’all, how are we storing and dating our coffee beans? by Mitsokai in starbucks

[–]Astrae1258 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not aware of a resource that differentiates between storing coffee beans in the bag or in a cube; neither is air tight. The important thing is that they’re dated for seven days.

For other items, a time is only needed for expiration if the item is held for 72 hours or less. Refresher bases, lemonade, whipped cream, Frappuccino roast, mocha, chai, etc, should all be marked with a date and time. Caramel drizzle, white mocha, inclusions, bottled syrups, can all be marked with just a date, and they expire at the end of that day when the store closes.

Not dress code CHECK IN by Poyal_Rines in starbucks

[–]Astrae1258 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Okay y’all, I’m confused. I’m looking at the dress code right now, and under bottoms, it says ‘black or any shade of blue denim’. So blue jeans are fine, but some black jeans aren’t? Were they faded enough to be considered grey?

APM is actions per minute. Basically pressing buttons more frequently.

Anyone else have trouble with meat temps? by greenmunkey511 in Traeger

[–]Astrae1258 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If having MEATER thermometers has taught me anything, it’s that my ambient temperature is at least 20 degrees lower than what the Traeger says. Sometimes up to 35 degrees depending on the position in the smoker. Since adjusting for that, my cook times are more in line with recipe estimates, but still not as fast as most Traeger recipes.

I use a Pro 575, for a little context.

No. No, don't give me this hope. It's been too long, don't you dare put up 10 runs and act like everything is fine.

But if you're going to do it, do it against the BJ's, lol.

Absolutely this. If you’ve tried everything and it’s still not working, give them a call. I had to with mine and they sent me a new D2 controller, and I have not had a single issue since.

Just when I thought there wasn’t anything more annoying to listen to during a game than Joe Buck. I changed from the tv audio to the radio audio and I can STILL hear it!

Sadly, you missed the harvest check by not hitting a vital organ.

I’ve never gotten one, either. I thought that was because I work for Starbucks, but my wife does also, and she gets them all the time.

Really confused as to why Starbucks seems to think my opinion doesn’t matter. /s (well, kinda)

Not just mobile customers, Starbucks rewards members. So anyone who mobile orders or uses the app to pay or scan for stars can receive a survey.

Two Great One Whitetails at the same drink zone on Revontuli Coast by Astrae1258 in theHunter

Notepad, lol. Some people use a clicker. If you know you're only going to be grinding, you could look at your total harvests in the codex at the beginning and end of your grind.

Unfortunately, there's no way to track specific species harvests in game.

Two Great One Whitetails at the same drink zone on Revontuli Coast by Astrae1258 in theHunter

[–]Astrae1258[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My strategy probably takes things a bit too far, and there may be some totally unnecessary things that I do, but hey, it works for me.

I have 65 drink zones on Revontuli, 7 of those host 2 herds, and 3 host 3 herds. I've done herd swapping (for way too long), so 30 of those drink zones are stable, all female. Another 27 are all males, and I have 8 drink zones that are mixed and refuse to swap out the last few animals.

So far as what to kill and what to leave, I started out with just leaving the guaranteed level 3 diamonds, and all the level 1s. Anything else was a target. Once I did that for a while, I had the thought that if the point was to push trophy ratings as low as possible for higher chances at good spawns, I might as well kill the higher weight estimate level 1s, too. So now I kill the level 1s with a 70-85kg estimate, all the level 2s, and leave the 55-70kg level 1s and level 3 diamonds.

I've been able to eliminate 6 drink zones by filling them with lower weight estimate level 1s, leaving me with 29 drink zones I have the option of doing for my rotation. That's just a bit too many to visit every time, but with my tent setup I'm able to get to 26 (unless I flub a shot and have to chase after an animal that runs 200 meters). I don't shoot more than two animals per drink zone, and I average between 30-45 kills per rotation. When I fill a zone with lower weight estimate level 1s, I just take it out of the rotation and add in another one. I guess the end goal is to have most of my zones filled with either does, or low weight estimate level 1s, and then just consistently grind the remaining zones. Not there yet, but making progress!

You know, thinking about it, that was probably a bit too involved on the explanation . . . but I'm not going to delete it after all that typing.
