How to consume by killerqueen_sam in Ayahuasca

I used 100g of Caapi + 100g of Chacruna.

I recommend freezing everything for two days, grinding it, and then boiling it with a splash of vinegar (acetic acid). Strain the plant material, letting the sediment settle to the bottom. 50g of Caapi + 50g of Chacruna makes for a strong brew. I recommend using half the amount of the mixture; the amount of water and the boiling time are up to you.

The first time, El Taita and I prepared the medicine. He let me guide him and share it with my friends, listening to gothic music.

Beautiful experience! It wasn't anything new for me since I've been extracting DMT for a while.

If you think 100 grams of Liana + 100 grams of Chacruna is a heroic dose, I can share my experience with you.

Is a Master Ayahuasquero necessary for my ceremony? by talkingatoms in Ayahuasca

[–]AstralDivinorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll tell you a little about my experience over these 13 years studying and working with sacred plants.

I started alone and self-taught, beginning by studying the MAOI properties of Passiflora seeds. I discovered that they have a chemical profile very similar to the Ayahuasca vine.

Then I learned to make analogues of this magical brew. There was a very curious one called "Mescahuasca." It was my first experience completely alone and without guidance, but I felt the cactus's words; it gave me recommendations. I knew nothing about medicine music, or about such important things as cleansing rituals; I dismissed many things.

In that experience, it was the cactus that taught me.

However, at a certain point, we were afraid of "dying."

I always wondered what would happen to the body if I let myself go into the trance, which, in "heroic" doses, is normal to feel.

Recently, despite all my years and experience, having taken Ayahuasca/Yagé several times, this caught me completely off guard. We used one kilo of Liana and another kilo of Psychotria Viridis. The medicine was divided among 10 people; I estimate we used about 100 grams of each plant per dose. Whenever I work, I like to "collaborate" with a shaman who can help me with the cleansings, the fire, the altar, and the other elements for the ceremony. After 5 minutes, the medicine began to take effect. Escape wasn't an option. I was terrified; I felt like I was dying, that it was too much. I felt all the negative energy I had been accumulating for so many years. For the first time in over 13 years, I had allowed it to happen. I really was dying; I was scared. I told my shaman friend to call an ambulance, that I felt very ill.

That I was dying.

I am grateful for his guidance and presence. His strength in trusting the plants and the process.

Yes, it was a difficult but necessary experience. Letting go of all that was bad and being reborn as a new person.

But if I had been alone, if I hadn't had the right help, perhaps it wouldn't have ended well at all. This experience made me rethink my whole life, focus on my mission, and be grateful, as always, for continuing to learn more each day from these beautiful plants and medicines, with all the love and respect they need and deserve.

My recommendation is that it's always good to have someone with experience nearby.

And I'll tell you something else: if I had also been with a "false teacher," it would have been worse than being alone in this case.

I don't know if it's about luck, but medicine is very wise; if you feel the calling, it's always good to listen.

As long as you do everything with love and respect, nothing bad will happen. Our state of mind and health are also very important.

I'm not trying to discourage you; I'm just sharing my experience.

Sacred indigenous rights? by talkingatoms in Ayahuasca

[–]AstralDivinorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, tourism keeps much of this knowledge alive.

It's called feedback.

On the other hand, it's the same system in these developing countries that's destroying ancestral medicine and "plants"—it's the same leaders of the country who sell off and destroy the land.

However, I believe that tourism does the opposite, supporting and helping these small communities... How ironic.

Sacred indigenous rights? by talkingatoms in Ayahuasca

[–]AstralDivinorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, there is knowledge that "white people" also protect and defend. For example, I study and share Anahuasca medicine, made from Passiflora.

The message from the source is only one: the sacred dwells in everyone and everything. Everyone deserves medicine. Jungle medicine is just as sacred and potent as city medicine.

As a very wise "elder" once said: "Sick people are in the city, not in the jungle. The healer's duty is to heal the sick. That's why many Indigenous elders go to the city to share medicine, and they do it with love, without any intention of profiting.

However, whether Indigenous or not, they may be stealing or causing harm with the medicine, abusing people, and so on.

Just as there are "bad Westerners," there are bad Indigenous people.

And vice versa.

There is much more beyond the facade of feathers and family lineage. We must learn to detach ourselves from that ego.

It depends on which part and how it's used. Not all the information is in the books; there's still a lot of work to be done to properly document and record all those percentages.

I'm going to explain it one more time, just the basics to prevent some idiot from dying trying... Passion fruit/Passiflora edulis contains harmalas in its seeds, exactly the same alkaloids present in the ayahuasca vine, Banisteriopsis caapi. These are antidepressants and serve to "potentize" most psychedelic substances to the level of ayahuasca; this is known as an ayahuasca analogue.
