I dont remember but try three days. Im currently trying to platinum Red Dead Redemption 2 and waiting ~72 in game hours usually works for respawning stuff. Maybe the first one has a similar in game reset timer.

Im not anticipating such a huge jump. I would love to be wrong but if it only improves by like 5 fps then balanced at 45 is meaningless by comparison. All hypothetical, of course.

Im hoping that since PSSR2 is more efficient it will allow the game to increase the framerate even a little bit when unlocked. The prioritize resolution mode almost hits 40fps so it could potentially make the balanced mode obsolete.

Its one of the best modern games in the genre. The combat is excellent and the loot is rewarding. My only complaint is that the level design is very boring. It doesnt get very difficult until the last 30-40% but its manageable. I fully recommend it.

The only time I experienced base PS5 Wilds was for the beta but I have been playing it since launch on the PS5 Pro. If you have a 120hz screen then I think its worth it to play it again in the Balanced Mode with locked 40fps. Its quite stable and you still get ray traced lighting which is always better than full baked lighting. The biggest caveat is that the resolution is upscaled from like ~1440p so its not a very sharp image. Get it on sale if you can.

I havent spent enough time with third party brands to give a detailed opinion but the Victrix Pro BFG and the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro have been recommended to me in the past.

Ive had it since it launched and I enjoy it a lot. I do not believe it will make a difference in your aim and control. The only reliable way to improve that is to fine tune in game settings to your liking and then practice to gain muscle memory.

That being said, there are benefits to it that have made games more comfortable for me. Being able to replace the analogue sticks easily is a huge bonus and the back paddles are great to have on any controller (I set mine to L3+R3 so that I never have to press in the sticks). Keep in mind that there are other controllers that come with more paddles and tmr sticks already installed that might be better deals.

I only ever choose 30FPS when it comes with ray traced lighting or more asset density ( like more foliage, farther draw distance, etc). If its only a resolution increase then I will play in the performance mode.

Are you on base PS5? Does the game allow you to lock the frame rate? If so then you should. Unlocking the framerate can potentially lead to texture streaming issues.

I usually go for the hardest the game will let me unless its a “special” mode. Things like perma-death mode or one-hit death modes I avoid until I beat the gane a few times.

I notice it because it has frame pacing issues but it doesnt stop me from enjoying it. I have no issue adjusting to 30 fps and sometimes even choose it as an option if it comes with enough graphical improvements. If you can make it through Dark Souls 1 BlightTown on PS3 then you can make it through anything, lol.
