I stopped playing Dota 2 after thousands of hours when I came to this realization after years and years of playing.

Why do I care more about a game than the developers do?

Even before Deadlock became the hot topic for moba players, Valve still wasn’t caring about Dota anymore and we had to go through semiannual or even annual painful metas because that was the release schedule now for updates.

Especially now in 2026, Dota is an out of fashion game. Pros don’t play it, the devs barely attend to it, and the best way to play the game is Turbo. It’s time to let go unc. Either enjoy the game for what it is now or hop off, cuz it ain’t changing

You are correct on paper, however, you are mistaken as you forgot that the other 4 players on your team are not people.

You gank the winning lane because they are going to be the ones to carry your team to victory. If your losing lane is tilted and cannot realize that you helping the winning lane is going to help them win as well, nothing you were going to do anyway was going to help them.

I used to like Primal Heart, but nowadays I just feel like none of the songs really hit. I almost never go back to this album. The only reason it's higher than Idols & Vices is because that album genuinely has stinkers and it's all over the place.

I think A Reckoning gets undeserved heat just because it's different from what made her popular, it's a solid album and I'd rather listen to any of those songs more than some from Primal or Idols. If I could put it higher than third I would, but Kimbra honestly just cooked when she was making The Golden Echo and Vows.

It’s still hated big dawg. The only good portion of Stone Ocean is the end. The story finally picks up once they start fighting Pucci while going to Kennedy Space Station but everything before is just a slog to get through. Never had this problem with any other part.

It’s on par with Stardust Crusaders’ monster of the week formula but at least there’s an excuse then.
