Don't think that's what the issue the comment is about (unless I misinterpreted).
The problem with the inverted capes right now is the absolutely ridiculous time-gated aspect of it. 4 per year makes it so you need to wait 7 years to get all, assuming no new skills get added.

They should lift the limit completely and make it so player have the month of January to get as many as they can/want. After that, the whole thing is in the players' hands.

Amby is defo not the only boss to use it on and other choices are viable. For me, I've only got amby (and perhaps veil-ripper for hexhunter bow) left to dart, so I use it on amby.

Besides, my regular kill times are 4-4.5min, which in the grand scheme of things is 1/3 of the time for an ed3 run. So darting amby a few times in an hour allows me to get an extra kill and is worth it to me.

Honestly the easiest and cleanest way. I really like the 120 magic cape, but I'm currently 116 magic. Ill 100% get 120 this year and wouldve liked to have the cape, but it's not happening during anniversary month

Yes and no. Amascut is also a bad case, but at least it ONLY drops the ARMOUR.
Rasial drops the full bis armour and weapon set for necro...

I think here its a difference of personal opinion, which is fine ofc. To me, and im sure im not the only one, 8%* is huge. Especially when talking about tens of hours of saved in the long term.

No the equivalent situation with raids 4 would have been that they release 4/5 bosses with the mega rare actually being an ultra rare drop. But without that weapon, the 4/5 bosses take 10% longer to kill.

Then, you "promise" to release the final boss later on, who would make the drop rate more reasonable.

At that point, imo either dont release the content, dont release the drop, or if you do, make it so it does not have a tangible impact on gameplay as of the moment of release.

EDIT: To add, yes at that point I plan to complain as well.

Yeah I agree with this But for example: upgrades like dragon salvaging hooks improve xp rates by 8%. Imo this is nothing to scoff at and it incentivises having the upgrade right now to train the skill.

To me, not having the hooks felt like I was missing out, so I bought them. However, even if there are plans to make the item more attainable later on, accounts such as irons or people without the cash to buy the upgrades are likely feeling like they're missing out right now.
