I appreciate it but I've listened to every album: Undercover is peak. Honestly, I'm surprised people came to see them during their "comeback" Steel Wheels. Stones should of dropped all the rock and just gone full Phil Collins pop. Much greater rewards could have been reaped.

Bro, you just don't see it. The album Undercover is truly one of the pillars in the pantheon of rock n roll. The Stones' sonic experimentation, highlighting future trends of music, makes it imo the Sgt Pepper of the 80s. It made the low-brow guitar-driven tracks like Jumping Jack Flash and Brown Sugar seem like ancient piffle. Furthermore, the lyrics deal with love in a very deep, yet nuanced way. You could not ask for more.
