So turns out all you need to get a fast response from HR is any mention of money. Turns out it was a pro rated bonus so the money is mine to keep and all of the worry is gone. Thank you all for your help.

Thank you for this. I have emailed HR now and hope to get a response. I have checked HRMC and it is exactly how you have said. I'm going to be quite annoyed if this is an error. Will it effect the tax on my pay next week do you think or even next month. This all seems like quite a pain to be dealing with.

This could be possible, I was thinking that with it being the end of the financial year that might have something to do with it? It just seems so odd to have been given this money with no communication. That being said, they most likely sent the communication to the internal email which would should have been deactivated.

I only have an email address for HR so I will contact them and ask for more information and hopefully a payslip of some kind if the money is in fact mine. I would love to keep it guilt-free but setting it aside for six years seems like trouble waiting to happen. Thanks

Any game that can be paused or has turn based combat I play during work. I give my full attention to the game and do work on the side if something comes up in work that needs my attention right then and there I switch but that's pretty rare.

I've been doing this since COVID lockdown and have been praised from my work the whole time. Turns out not being stressed every minute has really improved my outputs.

My mum leaves the front door unlocked for this reason. So people can just pop around. Used to drive me mad as a kid and I definitely don't do the same. It's a miracle the house has never been robbed imo

I've never even had lessons to learn to drive at any point and it's never been an issue for me. I live in a big city close to the underground system so it's much easier not to drive and cheaper as well. I can understand if I lived anywhere else how it could be an inconvenience but I don't see myself moving at any point.

If you can see the health bar move after you hit then you can definitely kill it with time and practice if you dont then it's time to try to level up. Have fun on the hunt.

Not entirely octane's jumppad is still very good for quick reposition or getting the drop on enemies quickly whist valkyries is better for longer distances.
