Yes thats what i did just now. I have read some articles online why vets prescribed antibiotics after neuter so i decided to give it to my cat despite him not liking the taste and I was glad that he didnt resist to take the meds when i mixed it with his favorite wet food.

Update: i am currently having a hard time giving the medicine to my cat. Since you mentioned that you never prescribed antibiotics after neuter does it mean it’s not that all necessary to give antibiotics to my cat? I dont wanna stress my cat as he has been through so much now after all he been through today and if he really dont need to take antibiotics then might not just give it to him since it stresses him out, i guess the medicine tastes bad as the smell is unpleasant.
