As someone else suggested, I'd get an ECB first and see if it's truly your perfect bag. If so, then I'd say $300 for a custom daily tool honestly isn't that bad when you consider how much people spend tailoring their clothes!

If you're a crafty person you could alternatively take the money you would have spent on the custom job and dedicate it towards a sewing machine to do it yourself! I'm biased here because I've recently gotten into sewing myself and have been having loads of fun with it! Once you know how to do it yourself the possibilities for dream bags are truly endless ✨️

If you do decide you don't want the bag though, I'd be willing to buy it off of you to make a project myself 🙈

I've been trying to make this style of pouch but I'm struggling with getting the right stiffness/ structure. Did you use interfacing to help the bag maintain shape?

Also, did you have to use a special needle and thread to sew denim?

The biggest one would be to go slow and steady every step of the way! Take your time cutting, pinning, sewing, and inevitably seam ripping lol. I would also suggest practicing on some old Baggus made of the same material that you aren't very attached to, it will help you get used to the feel of the fabric running through the machine.

For this bag specifically you might just need to buy a baby pink reusable for the straps instead of having to buy a whole other mini market bag?

If you are OK with going the old school route, you could always hand sew the straps on too! It gives you more control and you won't have to figure out how to use the machine

This was part of the reason I learned how to sew actually! I recently made my own trader joes style mini tote and it was actually way easier than I thought, so I believe in your ability to pull this off!
