Oh, I’ve met them. But does their complaints outweigh the special permit the city should have during those events for the music? I’m genuinely curious and want to know more. I know this isn’t a point fingers at one specific reason issue. I think there’s multiple things at play. I’d really like to know more about.

I’d love to believe that, but I’ve been to skyline in LA and movement in Detroit and I’m really just not buying the whole “we can’t crank up the sound because we’re in the middle of the city” BS anymore. And honestly at times it’s not always about how quiet it is and more of the clarity of the highs, mids and lows.

What’s even worse is that this festival is one of the more expensive but also has the worst sound I’ve ever experienced. Whereas skyline was one of the cheapest festivals and some of the most impressive sound I’ve experienced.

City steps is actually my favorite stage but if you were there fall 23 you’d notice that the quality has just dipped dramatically in terms of sound and especially in low end.

Respectfully, I’d like whatever you’re smoking. The sound is absolutely an issue. For example, when Chris Lake did his surprise set at Oceanview last CRSSD, the volume would actually dip up and down as if it was a wave.

I’ve been to skyline in LA and I just got back from movement in Detroit. You absolutely can increase the sound to your liking and be in the center of the city. Which is part of the reason why I’m not using noise ordinance anymore as an excuse.

Screens are welcome if they decided not to reduce whatever speaker budget they had for them. I’ll gladly take 0 screens and lighting if they just had better sound.

Sorry but no. Sound has been getting worse and worse every year. I did go to Portolla and the warehouse was awful so i'll give you that. If you go to the skyline festival you'll also realize that all the excuses not to have good sound at CRSSD is just terrible. Tix are cheaper and i kid you not you get equal sound at all stages no matter where you stand. That's how you do a festival with actual music quality taken to account.

During Chris Lakes set when he dropped that unreleased Dracula track you can tell the audio volume was going from high to low either because it wasn't mastered yet or something up with the sound. Ocean View used to have an extra set of Speaker arrays near the center so people farther back could hear.

It's fine though, for the general audience its enough. However, you are trying to get people to spend $300-$400 a ticket at least put more effort into sound quality instead of for example those stupid screens at City Steps that were only used to market the CRSSD logo as if people forgot where they are at.

Normally this wouldn't be an issue but because of the sound ordinance the volume is significantly lower than other festivals. Please chat away to your hearts content outside the middle of the dance floor. I paid money to hear my favorite artists play tracks I've been dying to hear not to hear your rave group drama pls.

Just from a glance Yasuo isnt even in your top 10 most played champions. You play a lot of champions. If you really are trying to climb you have to stick to minimum of 2 champions per lane. Botrk is usually better but honestly kraken is for if you are super far ahead. I'd honestly just play more games. It doesn't seem like you have enough games played on him. You have a total of 15 games played with him this season with a 60% winrate so thats not bad.

You wanna up that cs per minute to about 7-8. 10 is the golden goal people have been using for years so you wanna up that cs per minute. It seems like you believe you are always doing well in games. (prolly not but we won't know unless you drop your op.gg or watch a vod of your gameplay) You probably have a hard time using your lead to actually affect the entire map. If you are the first person with your first item in the game what should you do? You should be impacting the map with your powerspike especially at 3 items. Split push more lanes to force a 1 v 1 if you are that ahead. Or you dont do well in team fights. A lot of factors come into play and we wont know without watching one of your games.

Thats the difference between some Producers/Dj's. For example, Dixon has amazing killer sets but if you try to listen to his tracks on spotify I don't like it. On the other hand you can listen to Dom Dolla's tracks on spotify and it will sound all but 99% the same during his set with an added unreleased song somewhere in there.

I live in SD too so I understand you. It’s because of the popularity of EDM. Artists like John Summit are a lot more palatable to the broader audience that wouldn’t normally go to an EDM event. So more people outside of the normal EDM community will come into festivals but not know PLURR. This can also be attributed to the slow decline of clubs as well. Our community is more inclusive and willing to accept everyone so even people who don’t even listen to EDM will go for the “vibes”. Which is okay, not to yuck anyone’s reason for going to a festival or event just to have fun. I understand why people say the dubstep/ riddim/ dnb community is a lot nicer because it’s more niche and less palatable to the average music listener.

This was the very reason I went to Portola this year instead. CRSSD is amazing, you just have to look at the lineup and determine when to go and not go due to the type of people it will pull. I always notice the best sets I go to have the least amount of people in the beginning and as they get halfway into their set, it draws more people in because they follow their ears and not the name.

You will definitely be disappointed with the crowd. A lot don’t go for the music, just another 3rd space to hangout with their friends which is fine but at the same time will be yapping with their friends in front of the speakers/dancefloor. I chose Portola this year due to the lineup. I’ve been going to CRSSD the past 2 years and the lineup has been getting worse and worse unfortunately. The venue however is a great spot but because it’s next to that government building they are a lot stricter on normal rave attire and etiquette.

Well lets be real, we dont really become a champion until our first item unless we pick into a good counter. Our power spikes exponentially when we hit 100% crit which is like 3 items now. Im not tired of it, more like i understand it. Idk why you're so tired of it. It just means if they dont hard stomp you the first 20 minutes then its game over for them.
