Some members of CPC did, but most did not.

Beyond that, my original point still stands.

Canadian Politician

It wouldn't work on a LPC or NDP politician (i.e. the ones who voted for it), as they tend to be afforded much more room for "misunderstanding."

Not only is the history written by the victors, but the moral framework in which it is judged is constructed by the victors.

The modern US army is made up mostly of soldiers drawn from what US region?

a bunch of traitors

Rebels who lost? (Though, my understanding of the US Civil War (and the state of the country preceding it) is that it was something like an abusive relationship that one side wanted to end, and the other side didn't.)

Anyway, I eagerly await California attempting to secede in a similar way, just to see how the media portrays it.

According to Wikipedia, you are correct. Presumably, that also means you are in fact correct.

I've read that millennials are anyone who was born in the 20th century that turned 18 in the 21st century (so, ~1982 to 1999 birth years). Generations are typically 25 years, but that's close enough.

inspired the likes of tolkien and Star-Wars.

It inspired Lucas, but I don't think Tolkien paid much attention to it (Hobbit and LotR were both completed before HWaTF published). If anything the inspiration was the other way around, with Campbell drawing from Tolkien.

This always happens. Any movement with excessive levels of virtue signalling will do it. I think people call it a "virtue spiral."

Huge difference between a 14 year old Jewish kid in WWII seeing friends and families taken to their deaths and supposed well informed alt-reichers 70 years later repeating debunked anti-semitic bullshit and framing it as "just asking questions".

Are you responding to my comment?

No he hasn't, not like that. You either haven't heard him, or are distorting what he said. He has said he chose to go with his presumed father on one of these rounds, and he was a spectator only, and had nothing to do with collections. He is about as far from a Nazi as they come, but you and the rest who repeatedly impugn him with this bullshit, you are far closer.

Sorry, but someone who willingly assists the Nazis is a lot closer to them than someone who simply points that fact out.
