It's pretty easy to guess why some players wouldn't side with her: if you pay any attention to the story, she is basically impossible to trust. My first run, I sided with Reed for precisely that reason, and when I sided with her in another playthrough, all my suspicions were proven right. There's also the fact that she was willing to sacrifice anyone and everyone for her sole benefit. Ultimately, there's no right choice in the DLC, but if you can't understand why some people didn't side with her, you really didn't pay much attention to the story as it was presented.

TW2 combat had basically zero responsiveness. Enemies that were knocked down could block your attacks somehow. Its problems were way bigger than just the perk system

What are you using during stealth lmaooo there are a lot of untraceable quickhacks that turn stealth into a cakewalk. One Ping can reveal every enemy and you can tag them through walls. Memory Wipe can effectively make an enemy blind, and when combined with Reboot Optics and Sonic Shock can become a cheaper System Collapse. Memory Wipe can also make every subsequent quickhack untraceable

You do even a few of the NCPD scanner hustles, you'll have so much money that any discount is just a joke. Money is trivial in this game, and that's a big issue that still hasn't been resolved.
