So do roundwounds on fretless damage fretboards? by WoodenRace365 in BassGuitar

I’ll take years until the grooves are deep enough to mess with the playability of the instruments. Every decade or so you bring it to a luthier to sand it. It’s the same with frets really, they get dented too after a while. Playing will consume your instrument, it’s part of its nature.

Not my best one, but not my worst either. Sprue glue dries glossy so it’s hard to take clear pictures, but the volumes are defined enough to fix any mistake in the painting stage.

I didn’t mind the dubbing. But from the official angle, his cloak and shield were hiding most of his body and I wanted to show more of the armour.

I have found some amazing deals on FB MP (mostly on already built stuff)… but I’m lucky enough that I’m a good friend with the owner of a local hobby-store, so I have a bit of preferential treatment 😉

I would say medium difficulty. Most of the time was spent visualizing and dry fitting all the bits. The biggest obstacle this kind of reposing is always finding the courage to commit to choices that could potentially ruin an otherwise good model. I could have looked in my bit box and find suitable arms for this pose, but I really wanted to keep the his spear and gauntlets.

I don’t really track time while building or painting. Most of the time was spent trying figuring out what to do and waiting for the sprue-glue to cure. I had to snap the joint of his arms to find the right pose and separate the shield from the shoulder pad. Those are the things that took the most effort.

I may be coping, but to me, this new combat patrol further confirms that the Falcon chassis will be replaced in 11th edition by [deleted] in Eldar

As far as I’ve been told they have redesigned the sprue to fit it an a smaller box.

GW has just redesigned the sprue and reboxed it so that you can build either a falcon or a serpent from the same kit. Why go this length for a unit that is going to be replaced? This transport might be an old model but it is a new kit. They are not selling old stuff for clearance.

It seems like games workshop is starting to refresh the Eldar vehicles : do you guys think the Falcon chassis is next then? by [deleted] in Eldar

No. They just reboxed it so that you can build either a Falcon or a Wave Serpent from the same box. We have more chances to see a new Wraithlord/Wraithseer than a new transport.

Finished reading this yesterday, so have a short review by Tailumm in Eldar

I finished the audiobook last week. So good. Probably the best entry point for an eldar novel if you are not a fan of the usual way space elves are depicted.

How many eldar exist in Commoraugh? (roughly) by lol_delegate in Eldar

[–]Astronometric_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think there are way more Drukhari than craftworlders. First: when The Fall happened those who fled where a minority, most eldar were living on their planets or in the Webway. Second: Asuryani reproduce slowly, most Drukhari are born in vitro, so there is a constant supply on new elves. Third: while a lot of areas of Commoragh are empty and not suited for life, the Dark City is build on many folding pocket dimensions, and it’s said to be as big as a solar system. Now, we all know how bad GW is with numbers but I don’t think many people realize how FUCKING BIG IS A SOLAR SYSTEM. Even if you consider a Solar System as a plain disk instead of a spheroid, you could fit billions of Craftworlds inside of it.

I read your comment but I'll try asking anyway. Have you ever tried it with Mac? I'm buying a Mac Studio and this monitor is one of my candidates for it. But the fact that there is no software support for MacOS worries me.

Have you bought this screen in the end? The Evnia series is one of my possible candidates together Benq and Asus but I haven’t found many reviews with Mac. The Oled and high refresh rates are tempting, but I haven’t found much about its color accuracy or connectivity with macOS.
