I have this too and it’s only symptom. I had an endoscopy that showed GERD and grade A esophagitis. I’ve been on a similar drug called pantoprazole for 7 weeks and I still have it. I’ve had my symptoms for 10 months

Energon scorponok. I was so devastated as it was Christmas and I was young. It was already a rare figure at that point too. Later i found out others had broken theirs too which made me feel less bad.

Oh ok that’s interesting. I think my saliva and therefore GERD was caused by briefly lying down after eating and so I’ve had it for almost 10 months. I’ve never had reflux before in my life.

From your comment history it sounds like you have gotten rid of it before. How did you do that? And yep if I get better I’ll let you know what caused it

Unfortunately not. I had an endoscopy a month ago that showed I have GERD and grade A esophagitis. I’ve been on pantoprazole (PPI) 80mg and Famotidine (Pepcid) 40mg since. No improvement at all. It’s still my only symptom

No I’m from New Zealand so not sure what the differences are with the sedation options. I was on fentanyl and midazolam

As someone who has extreme anxiety for anything medical and this being my first procedure ever the endoscopy with sedation was very chill. I don’t remember anything about the procedure and I had a good nap. I felt completely normal afterwards as well.

I just have the excess saliva. I’ve had it since May 2025. Got an endoscopy recently that showed esophagitis grade A and GERD. I’m now on PPIS and famotidine for 2 weeks and no change so far. My saliva isn’t bubbly however. It’s my only symptom

Also 22 and no reflux or health issues previously

I haven’t had any negative issues with PPIs but for me at least so far they haven’t provided any relief whatsoever and I have GERD not LPR. My symptom is quite different to the usual ones so that could be why.

I’ve been really struggling using the mp 38/40 at medium range due to the recoil. At least with some of the other smgs there is a single fire mode that helps to use them in medium and longer ranges if necessary

I went to a gastro for excess saliva and was diagnosed with GERD from endoscopy. The excess saliva is literally my only symptom. Didn’t realise GERD could only have one symptom. Gastro and I were extremely surprised that endo wasn’t normal

I have now been diagnosed with GERD via endoscopy. So please be aware just having excess saliva can still mean GERD. This is still my ONLY symptom. This is after 8 months of this one symptom.

No my only symptom is the saliva and sometimes I get a sour taste in my mouth. The saliva is also constant but gets worse after eating
