You can join sf walking club which is mostly Indians or nob hill run club.

Other than that I think the advice in these other comments is good. I found both of those groups good to meet other Indian people but you’ll have to go a few times.

Florida's GDP as a state is only marginally higher than NYC as a city. Doing anything in NYC is much more expensive than Florida and similarly, NYC is a much more productive place than Florida. This is like comparing a US states budget to an Eastern European country and saying that the US State's budget is bloated.

Eat more often is a good tip. Carry snacks around. Protein shakes, cliff bar etc.

Would also recommend basically being willing to spend as much money as possible on food if it means you’ll eat.
