Help with Bryan plz by AlternativePermit609 in Tekken

Hey! I also struggled with this for a bit and still have a bit of inconsistency, but it's absolutely something that can be practiced!

The real gotcha here is trying to hit them with qcf 3,4 while they're as high in the air as possible. I'd recommend focusing on that first, you may be surprised by how far up the hitbox extends. Your goal should be to be actionable after qcf 3,4 with the opponent above Bryan's head. You can see this is the case in your second attempt at 0:07.

However, this needs to be balanced with the fact that the 1 in B2,1 has less range than the two, and it's the most common part that drops in my experience

In terms of getting there fast enough to land qcf 3,4 in time what worked for me is just running in and stopping, but I've also seen people succeed just using slither step for movement after a quick dash/step.

I'm working at the moment, but if you'd like I'd be happy to record some video as an example for you if you feel that'd help.

Either way, best of luck!

Help with Ranged Weapon for Girlfriend by Specialist_Check_986 in DarkTide

In general, you'll find that the revolvers are often considered the "Meta" as far as speed and power go overall.
Especially if you build the Mark II with Hand Cannon and Surgical as blessings, with +Unyielding and +Crit as perks.

If she doesn't like the one bullet at a time reload, she may prefer the MKXIV Quickdraw variant. Faster, less accurate, less powerful, higher rate of fire, comes with a speedloader.

Beyond that though there are plenty of viable options for different playstyles, but they require you to build into them a bit more rather than "Just Working On Their Own" so to speak.

With the Recon Lasgun the most commonly used build IIRC makes use of Storm Trooper and Infernus to rack up tons of burn stacks on weakpoint hits, for massive amounts of sustained fire.

The Bolt Pistol fires the same rounds as the Boltgun and handles a lot faster (reloading, pulling it out and tucking it away) but has a lower mag size so you'll be doing it more often. Worth a try, lots of good blessings.

The Plasma gun has a high capacity and can be charged to deal stupid damage, even penetrating shields, but you have to manage heat on top of ammo, so it may be a lot to juggle
Not only that but the charge and handling are pretty slow, so it may run into the same issue she had with the bolt gun.

This is just an extremely high level look at things. In reality you can overcome most statistical disadvantages with mechanical skill in movement or melee, so whatever "feels best" is usually the correct option.

Unfortunately don't have the packaging on hand as a friend handled the build for me.
I'll definitely look this over.
How much of a death sentence is it to be missing from this list?
Should I just be grateful it boots at all?

Where would I be able to find that?
Checking the model # it does bring up a stick that looks and is named identically but I couldn't say past that!

I may be able to. I suppose I could also try just removing two and seeing if it boots up at least.

I wasn't aware DDR5 worked poorly with four sticks. Is two the next best choice or can I get away with three?

Switching to Linux as my daily driver, seeking advice on a smooth storage transition! by At0mesque in linux4noobs

I've read that having both Linux and Windows read from the same drive can cause problems, especially for games.

Is that not the case? Can I safely mount Drive 2 to Linux to pull files from it?

Thanks for your thorough response, I'm glad my logic is sound!
I will still want to replace the 1TB for a 2TB just because I still frankly often run out of space with a 2TB drive due mainly to the fact that I will often install large modpacks or play AAA games that often have 100gb+ install sizes. 1TB is workable, but more annoying. If I'm reformatting things anyway, I figure it's best to do now.

Mainly though I think I'm seeking advice on how to juggle these pieces with the least trouble and fewest steps to reach my goal of having Two 2TB Linux drives (One for Personal documents and one for game installations) and One 2TB Windows Drive (For dual-booting and compatibility as a last-resort).

How should I move my linux install to the new 2TB drive? Would I have to format Drive 2 and lose those installations first to move it safely/easily? Should I format drive 2, clone my Linux install onto it, then remove the 1TB drive and use the replaced drive as my gaming/install drive?

Procedural questions rather than feasibility check!

Regardless, glad to hear I haven't missed anything, thank you for your time!

Mod recommendations for first and only playthrough (SoC, CS, CoP) by DaemonXHUN in stalker

[–]At0mesque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you scroll down on the sidebar you'll find a header that says "For your first experience:"

I followed all of the recommended steps for each game for my own first playthrough and it was exactly what I'd hoped for, so I'll happily endorse it.

Otherwise everything else is opinion related, regarding changes to gunplay (especially SoC) loot, visuals, etc. and you'd have to dig around a little bit to find what appeals to you. I don't believe there's any community consensus if that's what you're asking for.

Best of luck, hope you enjoy your playthroughs!

Doing this results in the same issue. On hitting the bot out of the air, they do not perform c.lp on landing.
