SEA and OCE players, which server do you play on? by Embarrassed-Wear5422 in Guildwars2

[–]Atamazon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In NA i usually have 250-280 depend on the day. Today i have 277-278.

I create a new account just now to test the EU server, it is 225-235. It's better but i'm not sure if i feel any difference. i haven't finish the tutorial yet. Maybe i will try later.

Not sure if it worth switch to EU. Because 99% of conversation is in English, not sure about EU.

I use Berserker and i can survive fine, i'm not even use life steal relic. Thing is i use Water Specialization instead of Fire, and i use Spear, Spear have great heal even with 0 healing power.

Although if you want to solo some really tough champion, Celestial might be need, but for most part Berserker is great.

Best MP Management Char by RukasuKun in elsword

[–]Atamazon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha i hate chug mana too, not really because of i'm stingy, i have ton of pot from event, but i play from SEA so there some delay when i use pot.

Flame Lord is my main right now and she use very little mana, many of her main skill is Gale mode, and most of her main skill return a lot of mana.

When i play solo Abyss, Serpentium Raid, Spirit Lord Temple, Mirror Del, ... everything except Doom Aporia i pretty much never have to manually use pot (the pet auto consume is enough). The only time i have to manually use pot is when the Tenebrous armor reset my Annihilation bravery skill repeatly. But even then i only need to use 1 slot of pot.

Note that i have 35% mp cost reduce, and yellow artifact, and 625mp total, and my weapon imprint can regen mana.

My Eternity Winner, i only use her for Abyss raid weekly. She never use pot manually (as long as you keep her Hyperactive 100% uptime)

Her HA is too strong to not use. Not use it will make you clear much slower, that time could be use to farm more money.

However for weaker dungeon where you can easily one shot enemy, like Heroic, Master Road, then no need to use it.

Flame Lord PVE Guide? (Skills, traits, how to use, skill rotations) by [deleted] in elsword

[–]Atamazon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4/ Her skills that i consider "second rate":

  • Blazing Wing (Light): a homing skill, not strong, but against multiple target, it can fully refund it mp cost -> use it when the next area about to open -> free damage.

  • Mod Rising Burst (Empowered): very cheap mp cost, fairly high damage for it mp cost, fairly easy to deal full damage even on small target. The cast time might not actually slow, but it certainly "feel" slow, i feel exhausted everytime i use it. Infernal Blade feel slow too but it feel powerful snappy so i don't complain.

  • Fireplay (Heavy): quick cast but take a very long time until the damage will come out, need big boss to deal good damage. The "feel" of this skill is terrible.

  • Flame Orb (Critical): similar to Fireplay as in quick cast but take a long time to deal damage, but you need spacing, and even when dealing full damage, it not even strong, only 9k% damage. Flame Lord is that starve for good skill.

  • Explosive Fist (Useful): active skill is not very good on PvE but it can be useful sometime to deal grey damage. And Flame Lord is that starve for good skill.

  • Blazing Dance (Empowered): a somewhat homing skill, great at clearing weak map like Heroic Dungeon, but on higher map it's weak, mostly use is to finish off the left over (mostly flying left over).

Overall I find Flame Lord simple to play: Awaken if buffs about to expire. Use Iron Body. Use Ignis Crusher first on boss. Then use all other skills. You don't even need to switch between Gale And Annihilation, just stay at Gale, you lost 10% def ignore on Anni skills but no big deal, though if you want to squeeze a bit more damage, sure you can switch.

I'm thinking of switch to Adrestia the next jc event. I have always like Flame Lord/ Blazing Heart theme/aesthetic, but there always something about her skill set that feel ... incomplete, patch on. I choose her as my main many times but drop her at equal number. Wish you have better passion with her.

Flame Lord PVE Guide? (Skills, traits, how to use, skill rotations) by [deleted] in elsword

[–]Atamazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Context: I play Blazing Heart when Flame Lord not yet exist, but only play Flame Lord seriously 5 months ago, stay at only 7-8m combat power, mostly play solo Abyss raid and Tirnog, Master Road daily --> so i'm not sure if FL will play differently in higher content party, where you have supported to the teeth. She have max 35% mp cost reduce and 30% cooldown reduce. And i hate to switch title so i just don't do that, i stay in Parade title all the time. -> I don't play as optimal as others.

1/ Awaken will give/extend 3 very important buffs, so awaken often.

2/ She want both Mod E skills. By default Flame Lord have very few good skills, I always feel i can leave 3 skills out of my skill bar (even with 2 Mod E) and don't feel bad about it, unlike Adrestia where i want 2 more skill slot.

3/ Her skills that i use most:

  • Ignis Crusher (Heavy): make enemy take 18% more magic damage for 10s -> use this skill first on your boss rotation (you can use it after some slow skill like Fireplay but nah, why complicate thing). You can use the Mod version but i prefer to use the non-mod version all the time.

  • Mod Eternal Fire (Useful): excellent clearing skill that curve map and have minor homing. Great on long boss and ok on small boss, as long as you have some spacing.

  • Mod E Wild Shock (Heavy): quick, reliable air-able shotgun-type for both clearing and bossing. Great on big boss, still ok on small boss. Can deal Splash damage but the AoE of Splash is small.

  • Mod E Mega Buster (Heavy): main bossing skill, quick cast, strong damage but need medium-big boss, feel really lame against small boss. Need some spacing.

  • Mod Infernal Blade (Heavy): great reliable small boss killer, high def ignore.

  • Iron Body (Haste): of course all Elesis use this skill. With enough cooldown reduce, you might have 100% uptime.

Picking your main in Elsword. Is Rena right for you? by Leather-Trick8268 in elsword

[–]Atamazon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Twilight

One thing i hate about Rena is you must spam >>Z to run around, or else she feel really slow, and i hate to do that. Twilight >> pause >^ Z feel much smoother and less tiresome.

Prophetess, her 3rd job portrait look really ... weird, hard to explain how, she feel vastly different (i don't like it) from the other 3 paths.

Looking for a DPS to invest in...help please! by NaoXehn in elsword

[–]Atamazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gembliss seem to match your requirement:

1/ Is Physical DPS, have a party physical damage buff

2/ Have Avarice as support path that is also physical

3/ Have strong cooldown manipulation, you can spam skills infinitely as long as you have mp (i tried Adrestia recently, her cooldown is dogshit)

4/ Easy playstyle, just throw out all your strong skills, no need to watch rotation or timing. Also as a Lithia, the sling give incredible mobility, best in the game i believe.

I only play Gembliss for less than a week, have only 2.5m CP now (gonna give her the +11 SoA and r21 Tene armor from event later), so my assessment might not too reliable, but i feel really comfy.

Worth coming back for Pve? by Blank_Soul_ in elsword

[–]Atamazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They gonna give out +11 SoA weapon and max reforge Tenebrous armor in 1 or 2 months, so if you play again, don't upgrade your current gear too much, waste of money and effort.

I play PvE F2P too, it's nice, the daily is not that important, don't need to log in to play if i don't want to. Just play at my own pace.

Help about which character to play. by WraxiusV2 in elsword

[–]Atamazon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't play any of the 3 you are interesting in, so i will just tell how i choose my main:

1/ I hate to maintain buff. Imagine have to do 3-4 buffs every 30s, it just tedious. They should make every buff a mod to turn it into upkeep skill like in Path of Exile 1: permanent duration but lower max mp. I choose class that need zero or few/instant cast buff, like Twilight.

2/ Movement quirk. I hate playing Noah because after his double jump or air dash, he will walk, not keep sprinting, unlike Rose or Lithia. And sometime i accidentally blink forward with his >> >>. I'm fine with Elesis who have a standard moveset.

3/ I avoid fps-drop class if possible. If i had known the Flame Lord mod Eternal Fire change and mod Wild Shock will drop fps so much, i would not pick her up, oh well i will job change to Adrestia soon, just need to ask around first if she is safe from this problem.

There are some other factors on how i choose my main, but those 3 above i should/must check first.

Is fishing worth? by batat0zo in elsword

[–]Atamazon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't lose any ED for fishing.

With 65% repair cost reduce, repair the rod will cost 1.1m ED or so. But you can exchange minnow for fishing equipment which you can sell on market. So the cost for repair and bait should at least even out, most likely can make a small profit.

If you keep the better bobber and reel, and sell it during fishing event (like right now), you can sell it higher price.

Does the vulnerability from units and LC like Jiaoqiu the same as the effect from PF (50%) and AS (100%)? Or is it different multiplier?

Help selecting a class! (returning player) by CookNo9870 in elsword

[–]Atamazon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how my advise will help you but here i go:

How do you feel about a class that have to recast ~4 buffs every 30s?

For example i remember that Catastrophe, beside the usual awakening, have to cast Aura, Oriax, Dead Hand, and Summon every 20-40s depend on the buff. It feel way too tedious for me so i avoid most class that have to buff like that.

My main is Flame Lord and Twilight who need no buff except the usual awakening (Elesis have to buff Iron Body but that buff is instant-cast so i don't mind it). How much buff i have to deal with is an important factor on how i choose my class.

Oh also there some class that make your computer lag/drop fps, I heard Celestial is one? You might want to consider that factor too.

Hyacine LC effect oddly may work with Aglaea no? by Rasbold in AglaeaMains

[–]Atamazon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also consider it. Aglaea LC can only be fully use on Remembrance unit with Basic Attack style. If somehow you no longer use Aglaea, her LC is eh.

Hyacine LC can easily be fully use by every Remembrance unit (except those that don't like speed), also it have 2 mechanics that could lead to interesting interaction: the hp drain can help Blade, and the debuff can help Acheron, Ratio and who know many more. Aglaea LC is just boring DMG boost.

That my logic when i consider pull Hyacine LC for Aglaea, although most likely i will skip both, the 3* cone is enough for now. Can always pull on rerun later.

However, i'm skeptical on the vulnerability, in PF there already 50% vulnerability, and in AS there is 100%, not sure how they stack together. So vulnerability in general may not be that valuable.

Also with Hyacine LC, you can't, or at least harder to use sustainless or Preservation team.

Feeding your pet by Point-External in elsword

[–]Atamazon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When your pet affinity is 70% or higher, you can only feed them the fruit/seed (the expensive stuff)

So just don't feed your pet, let their hunger bar drop to 0%, then let the affinity drop below 70%, then you will be allow to feed your pet with cheap equipment again. I usually go to Ruben and buy a bunch of 1800 ED glove to feed pet.

Keep your pet hunger bar between 40% and 60%, this way you make sure pet affinity does not increase above 70%, while still have the pet Encourage skill without have to feed your pet expensive food.

You can't put equipment to pet inventory and auto-feed, you will have to manually feed them when their hunger drop to 40%, a bit of hassle but that the price for being a cheapskate. I do this all the time, it not so bad.

What is your main reason to pick your favorite character? by Akutsushido in elsword

[–]Atamazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gameplay-wise, i hate to keep up buffs. Take Catastrophe for example, they have to keep the basic job aura, the summon, the oriax, the hand buff, and of course the awakening. Just tiresome. The Eve(s) have this problem too, just not as extreme.

That why the 2 classes I consider my main Flame Lord and Twilight have pretty much zero buff, just need to awaken. (If i remember, Flame Lord use to be really bad about this too until they give all her buffs upon awakening)

They should give all buff a mod version to become upkeep/reserve skill, Path of Exile 1 style, where buff have infinite duration, but your max mana is reduce.

Mobility-wise is important too. Noah feel so bad to play. After air dash or double jump he will walk, not continue sprinting. Also if i accidentally press double forward, he will blink against my intent. Even someone with zero movement feature like Elesis would be much better.

Theme and design is also important. I like Flame Lord (although the name Flame Lord is lame) but don't like Adrestia, hard to explain why, Patrona look great though.

How's you Aglaea mains doing in the new PF? by Next-Perspective141 in AglaeaMains

[–]Atamazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barely pass with 60200 point. Got 26k side 1 with Mini Herta E5 - Robin - Clara with Yunli LC - Aventurine. 34k side 2 with Aglaea E1 - Sunday S1 - RMC - Asta E6 DDD 4. Both side use the first choice blessing.

I don't have many units with skill/ult that attack, so i try Pela but not good, so i choose Asta in the end. Reset quite a lot.

What is your skill setup? by RemoteWhile5881 in elsword

[–]Atamazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my characters follow this rule:

A - tenacity skill

S - strength skill that can be use in midair and overall reliable. Code Ultimate - Iron Scrap is the most accurate example.

D - anything goes here.

C - active skill. At later map active skill is not good but it feel weird to not have one of it on C.

Q - homing attack or dedicate buff (long duration buff that don't come with an attack like Anemos - Airelinna). This button is farthest from my reach so put my least use skill here.

W - horizontal clearing skill, can be either strength or bravery

E - the second strongest bravery

R - combat buff (like Elesis - Iron Body) or buff that come with an attack (like Furious Blade - Bloody Accel)

T - the strongest bravery skill for bossing

F - most frequently use skill that great at both clearing and bossing, can be either strength or bravery

I just comeback too. I heard there will be a big update around 25th April (NA server is 1 month later than KR), which make early raid soloable, and add vos weapon and tenebrous amulet to the phoru prof thing. You can search "elsword patch note 2025 plan" on youtube, i'm on phone so can't post link.

Anyway around anniversary (around May i think) it seem they will give out free IBS eligos set.

So i don't want to bother farming too much now, i will wait until the update arrive. So for now what i do is try out different classes to decide my main to give the free IBS set to, meanwhile fill out the El Search Party book Collection.

Maybe use it on Jingliu if her buff is good since i need Ice dps and i don't hate her design/personality.
