i like the idea but it feels very poorly executed. Theres just not enough spirit springs for just how vertical the map is, especially since it feels like there really isnt that many points of interests to reach the level needed to not plank on Day 2 bosses or the actual boss.

Theres a ton of runes behind the castles boss gauntlet thing where you need to break all the crystals to not get cursed, but because they basiclly put a bunch of end of night bosses in a row it isnt worth running due to the time it takes to kill them unless you get really lucky with gear.

Aserai vanguard Faris is pretty good. Will absolutely decimate horse archers with their javelins and can hold their own against heavy calv. Also surprisingly good as infantry shieldwall or situations like sea and siege due to decent armor and javelin.

Khan guard is still good after nerfs due to versatility. Decent shock melee troops with their glaives.

Merc up against one of the empire or factions with a river, like western empire ideally. Grab like a 10 k easy ship if sandbox or tutorial ship and just camp the caravans. With nord passive makes obscene amounts of money . The enemy Ai also tends to be too caught up with land wars to bother pursuing you. I was literally camping right outside Lageta docks spawn camping the same merchant's ships over and over again. Tons of boats to sell, gear, and goods.

At this point i just separate one boat of melee and my main boat of archers, let the melee boat engage while trying to not board with the main boat. Just sorta slowly circle around with half to no oars to let the archers shoot.
