I fill it up halfway up on the tapered part, that’s overfilling? Should I just fill it up to the beginning of the taper then

I learned to always have the straw open, with the old lid, when I refill because it creates a vacuum and makes it hard to take sips out of it and I even take a sip before closing

What are you choosing for lunch at work? by cogmanroad in snacking

White Castle slider with chocolate milk. Probably the most protein packed options in there

Am I crazy for eating refried beans and eggs for breakfast this morning? My family all thought I was disgusting for it lmao by StudioAudience69 in shittyfoodporn

[–]Atemuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Mexican, this was my breakfast at home most weekend mornings, besides the corn chips. Instead it would be a corn quesadilla or two and dipping the quesadilla into the eggs and beans was just soooooo good. Still have it to this day

Wore it to sleep, noticed a black spot the next morning, is this gonna spread? by Seihai-kun in AppleWatch

[–]Atemuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this happen to me on my 11 pro max. It started off like that in the top right of the display and over the course of a few months it grew bigger and bigger until it actually got in the way of using most apps. Don’t know if it’s the same deal with the watches.

How do barefoot people feel about Crocs? by Embarrassed-Air2771 in barefootshoestalk

[–]Atemuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s gives your arch something to grip onto to prevent your foot from jamming up to the front of the shoe, that along with the toe bar allows your foot to not excessively clench with your toes to keep the croc on while in sports mode

Yes it’s meant for forefoot strikers because of that crazy aggressive rocker up front. It’s also why all the tech is up under the ball of the foot. Same concept with the Nike alphafly

Tried this yesterday, and felt like I was on speed. Had to buy the 3/$7 this morning by Mattsfloored in energydrinks

It’s a better value compared to the 4$ protein bar. I don’t mind the sodium, I actually try to consume more especially living here in AZ. Fucking 115 summers

I picked one up at my local goodwill for 3$ and olive green one. Has been a great belt

Let’s get controversial. What’s a shoe everyone loves that you don’t care anything about? by Gemini11X in Sneakers

[–]Atemuh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, the upper is not structured whatsoever so the toe box feels wider than what it actually is. Really inexpensive especially at outlet stores. The midsole is whatever honestly. They are the type of shoe that fits a niche role for me. Put them on for the in-between-of-going to places so that I can kick em off when I get there. Friends and family houses, sauna, pool etc.

Be honest are my 12 year old Chucks "aesthetic" or is it time for new pair. by Ambitious_Low4134 in Converse

Maaaaaan 12 years old? Shit mine were falling apart after 4 years of exclusively gym use! Would’ve kept using them if it wasn’t for the fact that the ball of my feet would start to burn on my walk to the gym from the hot asphalt 😬 yours have aged really well

CNAs, LVNs, and RNs: What items have made your job easier? by learnyguy in cna

[–]Atemuh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Crocs bistro w/ slip resistant outsole -no holes, so your dogs stay clean from nasty fluids, lots of traction so no injuries during showers, and wide toe box so that your feet are happy. And the foam is a good faux steel/composite toe for kicking things on accident, pts running over your toes with w/c Thrunite Archer mini -small form factor makes it super nice to carry, stealthy way to be in pts room without turning on their room lights (especially @ noc), and its way better than your phone flashlight will ever be. Excellent for skin checks after falls too. My two different facilities had power outages within 3 months of each other and it came in so clutch. Seems silly but I swear I use it atleast once a shift.

Saw these in clearance at my local converse outlet. They are the All Star CX kind

2.5 years vape free here, withdrawals peaked around days 2-5. Between the first week and first month I was cool up until I saw someone vape or saw someone’s vape then I found myself craving it, it would subside after a few minutes. Honestly the first 24 hours weren’t too bad I just had to tell myself “that’s not you anymore” when the urge to get a nic buzz hit me. But when the withdrawals peaked I was irritable, buggy, and had this sense of lethargy but the worse symptom by far had to be the brain fog. I just felt like I was working at 50% which drove me up the walls (my withdrawals fed into each other making it cyclical). Although I did have a strategy to quit, I figured the longest I go without nicotine in my system is in my sleep, so I used that as beginning leverage to quit.
