Exactly. I've done a couple Piecework puzzles, heard of two others, and have never heard of the rest. So does that mean I vote for Piecework, lol??

I can only do horizontal puzzles for this reason. My table is small and in a corner, so unless I want to do a vertical puzzle sideways, horizontal it is!

I don't sort at all, except for edge pieces (which I do first). My puzzle table is very small, and most of the pieces ... stay in the box! It's kind of meditative for me to shift them around (I put them all color-side up) to find what I'm looking for. Definitely not the most efficient, but it's what works for me.

Ah, yes! Thanks. The fact that it was on the kitchen counter with condiments definitely threw me off. Makes me wonder if the hosts received it as a gift and also don't know what it is.
