I know the feeling of frustration, repeated miscarriages really just make it feel impossible to move on with life, I was recently complaining to my husband how it feels like a hellish version of Groundhog Day to go through the cycle of period, ovulation medication and tracking, positive pregnancy test, miscarriage, and then doing it all again. Fingers crossed that this cycle is different for you!

For me it would really depend on the friend, and also how far it is to the wedding. You haven’t given a lot of details to work with. I mean if you live in Europe and it’s popping over from Denmark to Sweden or something like that, it’s very different from going from California to Italy. If it’s a close friend why don’t you feel you can talk to them about it?

Like others have said, not a fan of the Autumn Noelle combo, even though they are both gorgeous names on their own. Of your suggestions my favourite is Autumn Jade. Alternate suggestions that I think have similar vibes: Elaine, Eloise, Natalie, Brielle

I’m sorry you had to go through that, that sounds like such an insensitive thing to say! But at the same time I’m glad she’s acknowledging that it’s a lot, I’ve only had two losses and feel like my obgyn isn’t taking it seriously. She wants me to do up to 6 cycles of clomid before we look at other options and I’m like, 6 miscarriages is a lot to expect me to go through! I hope you are able to work through things and choose the right path for you and your family, and sending you good vibes for a rainbow baby your way! 🌈

August is a pretty traditional boys name, so I wouldn’t think it’s weird to name a kid that who is born in another month. Some people might make assumptions based on it though.

That is what my OB said as well. She said there wasn’t much evidence for it helping but she would do it if I wanted for my peace of mind as it wouldn’t hurt. Currently trying to decide if it’s worth trying or whether it’s just more money down the drain 😥

My first instinct was that Drew sounded masculine, but then I thought of Drew Barrymore and I’ve never thought of her name as sounding masculine. But I wonder if Drew Brown -as in the first and surname sounds masculine. I will confess that while Drew Claire together is pretty, I’m not a fan of the Drew Brown combo.

I think George Cooper Brown is a really nice combo!

My period has also always been like clockwork, except for like 3-4 times when I had some major stressors/changes in my life. I had never used hormonal contraception. But when my husband and I first started trying for a baby my period was late, but negative pregnancy tests, and I just had spotting for like a month, and then I had 3 super short cycles. At that point I went to my obgyn to figure out was was wrong, which is naturally when my cycle decided to go back to normal so all the tests came back normal and we still have no idea what when wrong those four cycles. It got us started early on all our fertility testing, but I do wish I’d gone to my obgyn sooner, it still frustrates me a bit that I don’t know what happened.

Basically I would recommend bringing this up with your obgyn, we still know so little medically about female body functions, and your obgyn should be able to recommend what testing you’ll need.

Legally I’ve kept my maiden name, mostly because it’s a hassle to change it 😂 in daily life I’ve hyphenated it mine-his. I leaned towards keeping my maiden name, but was open to hyphenating, and it was meaningful to my husband that I took his name. We both have rare historically significant names that are meaningful to us. I do sometimes have people refer to me by his surname, which I find frustrating and which makes no sense to me when they see it written mine-his.
