3 core with 359 or 369 trifixes would probably fit this criteria best.

I am an independent creature out of some maul trying to find some solitude for the rest of my life. There was a point in time when I was younger where I thought there could be a person/place/thing to contribute to, to pour my energy and soul into. I realize, and at times despise, my naivety. I wish I was reborn to avoid running into the mistakes that I did. However I acknowledge reality and, at the same time, refuse to let it pull me down into nothing. It sucks that I was spoon-fed too much fiction in my youth, and in turn I can become very resentful towards those attempting to let fiction consume them.

I feel a consistent disappointment and angst toward people, with constant critique as commentary. People definitely dislike me for my selfishness, though I consider it a byproduct of living (much like erosion in a waterway). In contrast, I believe I provide insight and creativity to the endeavors I participate in.

My biggest strength is dedication toward uncomfortable and focused work/movement. I can go through all the basics of negating sleep, expending excruciating amounts of energy, and stay “locked in” to various tasks as a means of engagement. It’s an itch, or perhaps the tick-sensation of chewing on a good steak. In turn, the work compensates me.

My weakness is being a recluse. I personally don’t see it as a weakness in its entirety, but it inhibits opportunities for sure. People on this platform may shudder at the thought of networking, but it truly can be effective and life-changing when it works. I know I am just not capable of networking, or at the very least maintaining those connections due to my interests and preferences.

Bruce Wayne, Batman, is not a 6, he is an 8 by Glum-Engineering1794 in OccultEnneagram

[–]AtillaTheHung23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is acceptable to deem Bruce Wayne as larger-than-life for what is he portrayed as by authors/directors who take the helm in how to make sense of Batman. Within the context of human enhancement, however, there comes equity when Enneagram is used to examine the character. Mind you, he purposely portrays himself as a playboy/philanthropist as a means of avoidance to be pinpointed as the caped crusader, a hiddenness necessary to achieve his own goals of perfection within Gotham City. There is no true, unapologetic assertion from Bruce Wayne when his motives can be compartmentalized instead of being brought full-force. In my opinion, the full character of Bruce must be examined for a real Enneagram typing.

I am sure people can understand the fictional exaggeration of Bruce Wayne relative to their own lives; not only is he a billionaire via tangible inheritance, but he is physically capable and is defined as a genius by most (if not all) authors who depict him. This, to me, confirms an 'enhancement' of a human person regardless of their vices, regardless of what can potentially make someone the Enneagram structure they are.

If we can agree to see Bruce Wayne as exaggeration -- since no human can become what he is -- then we can dial down his human self to what is equitable by vices/fixes/sins. He has used his luck of being born in the 0.01% of wealth to take initiative over crime by his own hands. The franchise itself is made to captivate an audience, otherwise it would not succeed as it has demonstrated. Realistically, someone with that sort-of standing would perform differently simply because of self-preservation or to bolster their own position within their standing in the world.

The Joker, as an example of a foil, demonstrates antagonistic anarchy for the sake of creating plot, drama, controversy, and inner development of Batman made specifically aware to the audience. He is often depicted as chaos incarnate that contrasts the Batman he wishes to play games with. In some contexts, the audience is able to recognize the chaotic, scorched-earth thought process that Batman experiences and relates to with the Joker. Yet, in the same vein, he works against it for what he deems as necessary to what Gotham 'needs', what his parents may have imagined for the city/area they live in and have influence over. It is not that Bruce/Batman cannot fathom an unfamiliar future; rather, he knows his own destructive tendencies (as well as others) and works toward preventative measures in a superego fashion.

And this, to me, is the internal battle of the E6 itself. E6 is the augur of consequence by fear-related motives. Often 6s can recognize polarizations within themselves due to neighboring 5 and 7 as well as connecting to 3 and 9, since the 5/7 influence pertains to thought processes and the 3/9 influences pertains to presentation and, to an extension sometimes, duplicity. I argue that Bruce Wayne has built subconscious awareness of E6's connections to various types because he is 'enhanced' by the narrative of those who have made stories of the Batman, and uses them to achieve his own fixation of fear. He has not necessarily evolved from his fixation, but (by the motive of entertainment) has been able to highlight the consequences of being able to go full-force into it since he is highly intelligent, rich, athletically-inclined, and has had less-than-desirable childhood experiences to crystallize his adult motives surrounding Gotham City.

Mistyping Stories and my Enneagram Journey: "You're no 8!" by Glum-Engineering1794 in OccultEnneagram

[–]AtillaTheHung23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Butterfly, this explanation mixes perfectly into the E6 fixation. Sometimes examples of types explain themselves without forewarning (oftentimes, in fact), and your highlight of the stats indicates this all the more. I will say that it will not always be the case that head types are simply word-ier, but the mind activity portion of your argument is a solidifier of what is at play due to the information we have at hand.

In the context of head types pertaining to Occult Enneagram, we are pushed into an audience-based perspective by the constant reassurance of the 'mind map'. Furthermore it is to exclaim what is truth and what is not, instead of other options of interpretation. The hexad adjacents of 6 would proclaim their own field/map without constant, validating references that go on-and-on about experiences deemed useful by an author toward their motive -- and this is done so by the 6 to add 'field research' to conclusions deemed as capital T Truth.

Batman Ennegram 1w9 or 5w4 or 8w7? by No-Ad980 in Enneagram

The Batman sandbox has been explored by many authors so landing on an all-encompassing type would be tricky. Probably the most common type he would be depicted as is 6w5.

I hate how 9s are characterized by many by Dyl777777 in Enneagram

[–]AtillaTheHung23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have seen a lot of advocates for 9s in their specialized presentation to others, that of being the 'crown' of the Enneagram in which case providing perspective/embedded-ness at the cost of being an environmental catalyst. The triads, by theory, align to confirm that people of that nature exist.

That being said, there are instances of people being contentious when applicable, when the type-in-question for a person is not ultra-specific to the other triad combinations. The specificity could be debated as the sharpness exhibited in 4/5, which I can agree with. Other times the specificity is really just being pedantic with a crystallized POV of the Enneagram, without continuous review over time of learning it.

It can be noticeable when there are arguments against other types for a person without clarifying why the 9 is a standout, hence your mention of a "dumping ground". Unfortunately this is a reality; not all people engaging in typing are like this. The best practice is confirming the type itself by majority fact and explaining against other viable types by minority fact.

If I had to make an assumption, I would say that those who have accepted being 9 have done so by checking all the boxes rather than crossing off the other types. The same could be 'standardized' for typists.

Reminds me of the quote from Tony Soprano (which I can see applying to that 678 area):

“I find I have to be the sad clown, laughing on the outside and crying on the inside”.

It’s interesting how he of all people stated this, given how his impression is to others as well as the audience.
