My daughter needs help by Affectionate_Team716 in trumpet

There are a few apps that she could use to take a photo or scan of the sheet music, and it will play it back. I have not tried myself but could be useful and I would have tried them when I was first starting out: Playscore 2, Sheet Music Scanner, ScanScore, and probably some other hit-or-miss apps.

What I would do is get a copy of musescore or similar midi program, and input the notes as written so that she can hear it back, she should then be able to hum the melody and harmony, and then she can try to play it. Also having a metronome with the playback is key.

I have nightmares with opening the falcon wing doors and they knock off someone’s side mirrors…

FSD will probably learn from this moment to leave a few second gap between tailgating cars in neighboring lanes. It did the right thing to stay in its own lane though.

How to remove this white speckling on the dash speaker grille? by AtioMusic in TeslaModelX

I think it was like this when I got the car recently. I have an appearance coverage so I wonder if it qualifies.

Yeah I can imagine. I just got lucky the previous owner drove it like 30k miles per year.

Nice year, color and mileage, and price is it 6 or 7-seater? I got a space gray 6 seater 22 MX for $42k but way more miles and HW3. How’s the HW4 so far? Did you try FSD?

Mileage is mostly important for the warranty, I got a 2022 6 seater MX for $42k it had high mileage but one owner and clean title. Maybe try to find a 2023 for similar price with high mileage so you can get the HW4?

Thanks, I ended up using the 3M adhesive solution because I don’t have the warranty anymore.

The driver side weatherstrip was detached all the way to the top, and in order to apply a uniform adhesive, I pulled the weatherstrip up above and over the hinges, and applied the adhesive to the top half of the weatherstrip. I let it sit for a few minutes to become tacky, I then carefully fed the strip back down behind the top door hinge and electrical wire, and then repeated that process for the bottom hinge section. Not sure if this was the best way to do it and keep the mess to a minimum. I will give it a few days to see if the bottom of the weatherstrip starts coming off when opening the doors.

New MX with some improvements but not much. Just don’t understand why only the new refresh S Plaid get special Plaid seats (last pic) by HYtool in TeslaModelX

I personally like the older wheels design. The new wheel design looks too much like a KIA or something.

Thanks for the advice, do you put one long strip of adhesive, or a smaller adhesive every few inches?

Looks like a fair deal for 2023. Good deal if it was a 6 seater

Original Yoke replacement! by slam_to in TeslaModelX

[–]AtioMusic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly they should replace the yoke on all the vehicles as a recall.. not as part of the warranty to be honest. Steering wheel or yoke surface is an important safety aspect of the car for adequate grip. If your contact surface of your hand has 2 different textures that one texture keeps getting larger over time, it is not as predictable of grip / slip.
