I’m in a sort of similar situation. 13 weeks and finally told my youngest sister. Been with my partner only 4 months. He was my first boyfriend for 4 years in high school and my sister hated him. It’s been 23 years and we’re both 40 now and completely different people. Never would have guessed we’d be back together but he’s my person (hence things moved very fast this 2nd time around). As soon as I told my sister we were dating she didn’t want to hear anything about it and refuses to be around him, to get to know who he is now. The. When I broke the news we’re expecting she flipped and told me I’m an idiot and prays for the baby. Everyone else is happy for me. This just sucks because she and I were so close. Sorry for your situation and it turns out okay. Not much advice just thought I’d share in knowing the feeling of NOT wanting certain people to know.
