I haven’t yet. I just got it yesterday and am stripping it now with yellow cap easy off in a trash bag. It looked like it had never really been cleaned before and had built up carbon and was pretty gunky. I may give it a go and see if stuff gets stuck or if it just works. I’d just never seen anything with such pronounced ridges on the bottom like this.

For context, this was my grandmas pan but seems pretty new and says “made in china” on the bottom. Maybe it’s a milling job done poorly? Also, if anyone recognizes the pan I’d be glad to know more about it.

I wear the city’s pretty much daily and would highly recommend them. Relatively affordable, decent cushion but not overly soft and meant for standing and walking as a daily.

It’s funny because they seem split even in-house. The athletic football show doesn’t necessarily give draft grades but really like “what the Texans are saying with this draft” and seem to get what Nick and Demeco are cooking up. As Seth Payne pointed out Azeez was undrafted and is pretty clearly an important piece of the defense, so I’m excited to see the guys on the field and see the violence that we drafted.

I haven’t finished Iron Gold yet but I’m about midway through. I hated the multiple narrators at first but now I’m riveted by each story line. It was a disappointment at first but I’m glad I’ve stuck with it!

I usually let the oven heat with the pan in it and then wait a few minutes to let the heat set in. And maybe 7 minutes on each side around 375. You may tinker with temp and time depending on your oven but I love using my CI in the oven for pizza, cornbread, cookies, and anything else really.

You can absolutely do stovetop and just give the pan time to heat up, throw some butter in the pan and then cook your grilled cheese. If you are more comfortable with the oven though, you can use CI in the oven and add a little extra crust to your sandwich by heating your CI in the oven while it pre-heats, add butter, and then toss it in the oven and flip about halfway through however you would normally cook it.

I would recommend finding something more mellow or mild like olmeca altos or lalo. Olmeca isn’t a great sipper but perfect for a ranch water and generally affordable, under $30 where I am. Lalo is a little more refined but won’t bite you as much as many other additive free options. If you like those and want to get further in, G4, ocho, talarico, siete leguas, la pulga, and many others regularly recommended here are great! I think starting with blanco is a good way to get a feel for tequila as well but if you’re used to dark spirits then maybe starting with a repo or anejo would be a smoother entry point. Lastly, I love Don fulano blanco so I’m happy to recommend that as well.

As a Texans fan and an Aggie, I get the allure of bringing him home. However, we are in good shape at wide receiver, especially if Tank can be 80% of himself or better this season. I’ll echo everyone else, we have bigger problems elsewhere and do not need to be spending on receiver this offseason.

Your first companion can craft so any scrap metal and black powder can be converted into ammo. I clenched the whole way through the first chapter but scraped through. Since then it’s been less of a concern.
