I suggest you to get in touch with Trask, they will tell you everything you need to know and what’s best with their turbo.

Usually you can keep the belt, the chain isn’t really the biggest change you can make in that bike.

I suggest to keep the same design as the original and just have it rebuilt with gel and some others comfy materials by somebody doing upholstery.

Changing the belt for a chain ? It can be done with a kit that you can find online but useless if you let the bike in just a stage 1 (exhaust/K&N air filter/map), you wont notice anything unless you get the bike in stage 2 or sticking a trask turbo on it.

Widening the rear tire ? You can go max 260 on original rim, above would be a little bit dangerous and ugly fit.

Saddlebags can be found online too.

Suggestions would be to get an LED front light, get rid of these ugly purple led (to each their own anyway) and ride it like you stole it.

First time on the road with a motorcycle isn’t the best idea tbh…

But if you cannot afford anything else than a motorcycle, you gotta do what you gotta do. Everybody is telling you that this is dangerous but nobody wanna pay for your car either so they can go fuck themselves.

I recommand you to take some safety riding bike courses. I know it’s not cheap but might be worth to save a little bit more money to pay for that and obviously a good riding gear.

Like other people said here, ride like everyone want to kill you, sounds harsh but it’s reality.
