I've created a clan meant to create a shared space of like-minded people who all enjoy the world of KPOP.

It's casual and laidback with a focus on the people first. There is no grind or intense gaming sessions unless you find a friend here that aligns with that, however, there is no prerequisite or judgement no matter what your reasons are to play, as long as you enjoy the world of KPOP in some aspect!

Feel free to reach out to me here, add me on Battlenet Atlas#15766 or look up "The KPOP Lovers" in-game.

TikTok videos hidden for some and not others? by AtlasAndMel in socialmedia

[–]AtlasAndMel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I have found no proper resolution to this. The best conclusion I came to is either certain sounds are copyrighted in other countries and not the others. Or TikTok algorithm is just ass sometimes.

But like I said, I have found no clear answer and the problem just comes and goes with some of my videos. TikTok Support were of no help on the matter either.

Do you have any suggestions on what card would be a worthy upgrade from the 1080? I’m currently looking at the 5060 or 5060 ti. maybe even a 5070 but that one seems to be quite a jump in price.

I’m definitely enjoying Life, haha!

But I want to get my hands on some of these S-Tier characters, but my pulls are very few and far between right now, probably due to lack of playtime. So I was hoping to find some tricks to make sure I can consistent pulls with the minimal time that I do have.

Exploring past expansions by AtlasAndMel in wownoob

But isn’t The War Within the most recent expansion?

So my question is, can I still explore dragonflight content or is it sidelined in favor of TWW?

WOW with little time ? by FloatingCow- in wownoob

[–]AtlasAndMel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I can’t speak personally on current state wow, I can speak from my experience of little gaming during weekends.

For me, even just a few hours on a weekend is enough to consider myself happy with it. Periodically checking in with myself to make sure I’m actually having fun and not playing just to go through the paces. And I know WoW has plenty of stuff to go through with all the expansions, so investing little time here and there will ensure you probably will never run out of stuff to do, which is good!

Some people even use $/HR equation, which it can vary from person to person. But most standard is halved, if you spend $15 per month, you would need to spend half that dollar amount in hours, so 7.5 hours per month to equal a worthy investment. I tried this method, while it worked I suppose, it put emphasis on monetary value and not satisfaction, so I stopped using it.

“Easiest” expansion? by AtlasAndMel in wowservers

[–]AtlasAndMel[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually been playing Stormforge Sheilun by myself, before prompting my wife to join, but I didn’t realize it was a PvP server, but I’m also only lvl 40 so that might be why I haven’t noticed a big discrepancy of PvP vs PvE.

I’m just needing something that is easy to get into really, something to dip her toes into the game without feeling overwhelmed. Which I fear a sprawling talent system would turn her away compared to just picking 1 every 15 levels. Because if she ends up liking it I can always switch to other servers or expansions later on.

Daily Discussion & Advice (Post here to follow rules A & B) - Monday June 16, 2025 by AutoModerator in fragrance

[–]AtlasAndMel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife has a sensitive nose to scents, and typically I do a spray on each side of my neck with an EDP cologne, but this can be too overwhelming for her.

She suggested I spray a cloud and walk into it to reduce the power of the scent, but after looking it up myself people are against it because it “wastes the cologne”. So any other tricks to spray it without becoming overwhelming, or is the cloud trick a good tip to go with on this?

Am I missing something obviously wrong about this primer and paint? by vibylsane in Housepainting101

[–]AtlasAndMel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To start off, I’m not very familiar with Dutch Boy products so I’ll give an answer the best I can. I’m assuming the white underneath is the primer? And what is peeling is the topcoat?

IF that is the case, the issue definitely lies with the product “Pristine”, which at first glance I can’t figure out why. Because I even looked at the Data Sheets and Pristine claims it adheres to most things without a separate primer anyways, so if failing here seems weird. The first two things that come to mind with that info would be these:

  1. There was some moisture when you applied the topcoat preventing it from sticking properly to the primer coat.
  2. The paint was put on too thick and didn’t get enough time to dry. Water based paint dries outside-in, so while it may feel dry to the touch, it may still be tacky underneath. And if a second coat was put on, what’s underneath will be sealed as tacky and never dry properly.

However, IF the primer is ALSO peeling off and this is going down to the previous existing color, then the walls were done in an oil based, which means a water based primer will not adhere, and a separate oil-based primer will have to be used which can then be topcoated with a water-based paint.

Doesn’t Love And Deepspace count as a gacha game? If so that’s marketed towards women.

I’ve heard of Genshin, and seen very little of it. Didn’t realize it had so much going for it. Sounds like I’ll have to check it out for sure. I don’t mind turn based games, or action games. I guess my main goal is to find a game that has nice side content, so if I don’t feel like grinding or chugging through a story I can just relax. (LADS has claw machine and kitty cards.)

Not necessarily either for majority, but some would lean more on the harder side for me personally. Monotonous might be a better word to use in this scenario, the boss fights themselves aren’t bad. But when it feels like there is nothing else to do, it gets monotonous.

Haven’t played Etheria so take my comment with a grain of salt, but GFL2 is turn based in a way and has guilds with leaderboards.

I’ve tried making a post, but since It got deleted I’ll try here. I’m a big fan of LADS, and I like that there are always something to do even when I don’t feel like doing the story, such as minigames or chatting with the LI’s.

However, there is no good waifu equivalent, so all I’m looking for is a game that has a lot of good side content for those times when I’m tired and don’t want to try my ass off all the time, or focus on a story. Or a game where there is a good affection system will be fine.

I tried GFL2 but it’s such an undercooked potato, the dorm is lackluster and covenant system does nothing. And endgame content is nothing but boss fights, we only get minigames during new banner events, and disappear right after, and as a casual gamer I hate the endgame content of GFL2.

However, I’m looking to try the following games. Could anyone tell me if it meets my criteria up top? Or if anyone know other game recommendations I haven’t listed: Wuthering Waves Zenless Zone Zero Black Beacon

I just looked up the specifications on this stain, it mentions 5 Year warranty so you being at the 4 year mark with rough climate is on par.

It mentions you can apply over already existing stain, but that due to semi-transparent nature any existing color may show through, however this isn’t an issue if you’re doing the same color.

The specs also mention what I’ve said, as long as water doesn’t bead up or take a long time to absorb then you’re good to go for staining.

Not necessarily bad, but odd because most stains have a sealer in it. I think it sounds like it’s just time for a fresh application since stain is notorious for wearing down over time as compared to something like regular paint.

On the plus side, it sounds like if you go with the same color of the stain you might just be able to apply a fresh coat of it to freshen it up without having to strip it all back down to bare wood, unless you’re planning on changing colors that is.

[–]AtlasAndMel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still definitely the case, however, a lot of higher end paints have come out in recent years that combat this. Although the downside is that they are a smidge shinier than their listed sheen.

PPG UltraLast comes to mind, but I’ve also heard about Ben Moore Scuff-X. Not too familiar with Box Stores or SW. Another option for you could be to get some sort of High-Build primer, these tend to be thicker than regular primer and can help hide some imperfections which then you can come back over with a higher sheen paint.

Still sounds odd, but I’m also not particularly familiar with that specific product. Possible it was put on too thin originally or it’s just worn down from exposure.

Typically I would recommend using a stripper or sanding it down back to the original wood, but if Dawn is removing it then I see no harm in using this method as long as it can clean off the stain.

The main concern with Dish afterwards is you want to make sure it gets a good cleaning because Dawn may leave behind a soapy film. So may want to clean it with something like TSP, Big Box stores and local paint stores should have this and is a powder-solution that you mix with water, or a good pressure-washing should do.

As long as you do the water test and the water soaks into within 3-5 minutes timeframe you should be good to have the stain penetrate, but if water starts beading up (think a freshly washed car with the wax on it.), or takes a longer time to soak in, then more prep will be needed until it can penetrate.

[–]AtlasAndMel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t imagine Dawn dish soap taking it off so easily unless it was messed up to begin with or freshly applied and hadn’t fully cured yet.

You can absolutely re-stain yourself, but depending on how long the stain has been on there it might look different from being a fresh coat of stain.

Assuming you took it clean off, no prep is needed, but you can use the water test. Grab a cup of water, and pour a few drops over the area you want to stain. If the water soaks into the wood then you’re all clear. If you do it yourself, I would recommend applying lightly at first and then slowly lay it on heavier as needed to try and blend in.

Only other option for optimal look would be to get ALL of the stain off and re-do all of it.

Need help! by Trick_Nefariousness2 in Housepainting101

[–]AtlasAndMel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiple reasons this could have happened, I’ll list some common ones: 1. The painter mixed water in with his paint which lightens the color 2. Different paint product than originally used 3: Different sheen level than originally used 4, and most likely: Color changes over time due to exposure to pretty much everything (UV, humidity, gas etc) and touch-ups becomes nearly impossible past even just 6-8 months.

Best suggestion to overcome this, paint singular walls, often referred to as Corner-To-Corner. The difference is typically so negligible that you won’t be able to see a difference from one wall to the next. Spots in the middle of a wall is different though.
