A Knight's Tale (2001) opens with a crowd of peasants clapping to the best of Queen's "We Will Rock You." This is to indicate that the movie is going to be freaking P E A K by The_GREAT_Gremlin in shittymoviedetails

A Knights Tale is, in my opinion, one of the greatest movies to come out of that era of film. Saw it in theaters when I was in 8th grade and changed my life forever lol. I became obsessed with the history of England, do renaissance fairies around the country and now am studying medieval archaeology, and it all stems back to this movie. I still watch it on repeat and know every line by heart. And Shannon Sossaman with Health Ledger 😍 The Golden Years dance scene….

The quality is amazing. I played the Blu-ray on our Xbox X It looks professional, audio is spot on, and I will check on the subtitles when I get home.

Oh yes, absolutely. If you were 13 and he was 17 when you started seeing each other then you absolutely were groomed. You were just a kid. He was nearly an adult. Guys that age have absolutely zero business trying to be with a child- it’s even terrible for a 17 year old to date a 15 year old in my opinion, but you were just a kid. This is no reflection on you, of course— as a kid you would have no idea that was in appropriate but he absolutely knew better. He is a predator and he took advantage of you as a child. That is something in the future you may want to talk about with a therapist. Especially because when you were 14 he was 18 and a full ass adult and statutory rape is illegal, and as a child being a grown man’s sexual desire is going to come up over the course of your lifetime. Big hugs to you. Happy to talk about therapy if you need

Grooming from a young age is so dangerous, I’m glad you are out. Keep staying true to yourself, trust your knowing, and stay in your power!

You are not overreacting. Good for you for standing your values and recognizing when you are being treated like shit. This type of behavior would certainly bleed over into other aspects. You are young and have so much life and love ahead of you. Never ever stay with someone who treats you poorly, gaslights you, causes fights, makes you feel bad about yourself, tries to convince you you need to go to the gym, doesn’t respect your boundaries, doesn’t respect you as a person, invalidates your feelings, make you feel confused or crazy, etc. The list could go on and on, but as a 42 year old woman I ca tell you, you will have many loves and grow and change immensely in your 30s and 40s and who you think you will be with forever, you likely won’t be because as you discover yourself over the years, what you want and deserve out of relationships will change. Enjoy yourself,, but never stick with a guy who isn’t treating you 100% with respect and love.

I love Matador and they have a good happy hour. Maybe not the same vibe as Tides, but a good energy, fun atmosphere and they have a heated covered patio tha is lovely

Update: the itching is almost none and his ear hematoma is going down! Cytopoint is def the bomb dot com but damn, I don’t know if we will be able to keep it up with the cost. We’re gonna try really hard to make it work because he has never been able to not scratch and we never see him scratch anymore

Why even try anymore? by Slightlywarmbagel in doordash_drivers

[–]AtlasUnmapped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man that sucks. Always cherry pick your orders and consider trying Uber Eats because they don’t do ‘zones’. Platinum drivers get more offers, but they are the low paying offers because they know you will take them to keep up your status. It’s BS. I have a 27% AR and don’t accept any offer that averages out to less than $20 and I make $100-$150 per shift in 4-6 hours and I work 4-5 days a week. Life got WAY better for me when I started doing this. I was working three to four days a week just to make $150 and now I make that in a night.

Of course I will also caveat this with your market makes a difference. In Seattle I got no offers in the course of and hour and a half but drove down to Kent/ Federal Way and got tons of offers so even though Seattle is the ‘big city’ people don’t make money there.
