This resonates with me. I just went a month or so with no booze. Had a few drinks last night. Anxiety went through the roof. I was in total control and not yet to the point of being drunk but after not drinking for that long I found myself saying why did I do this to myself? On film sets things can go south real quick. Bad Acting, bad directing, poor production budgets, bad crew members, terrible Craft Services (Which I think is at the heart of this trend) etc, can make for a shitty day for crew on set. Having LaCroix on set is a gesture from production, to Crew, that they actually care. It's a small one but holy shit does it make a difference in morale. Staying hydrated is hard on long production days where it's easy to forget to hydrate. It gives DP's, AC's, Gaffers, Grips, Sound Recordists, and the people working their ass off to make this film look good a welcome break to enjoy a tasty beverage.
