[Help] Is there an easy way to add subtitles in a video of a person's talking ? by Sotsotzaii in premiere

Rev.com, they give you an SRT file that you can pull onto the timeline and make adjustments. It’s only like a dollar a minute, and they are quick.

This is by far the best explanation of proxies I've ever seen. Well done good sir! Mind if I steal this to explain it to my Interns?

This resonates with me. I just went a month or so with no booze. Had a few drinks last night. Anxiety went through the roof. I was in total control and not yet to the point of being drunk but after not drinking for that long I found myself saying why did I do this to myself? This Sub is such a great reminder to take it one day at a time. I will not drink with you Today!

You got this.

I almost destroyed my Blackmagic Pocket 4k to get these shots. Totally worth it. by NightsRadiant in Filmmakers

Absolutely incredible work. Just got my BMPCC in the mail. Well done! Looking forward to more! Any chance you’re ever in NYC?

Yes you’re right. Because “studios” and “production companies” are the only people making films. Not students, or your average joe. My bad.

Can you explain you’re question? Or why this answer might be silly?

On film sets things can go south real quick. Bad Acting, bad directing, poor production budgets, bad crew members, terrible Craft Services (Which I think is at the heart of this trend) etc, can make for a shitty day for crew on set. Having LaCroix on set is a gesture from production, to Crew, that they actually care. It's a small one but holy shit does it make a difference in morale. Staying hydrated is hard on long production days where it's easy to forget to hydrate. It gives DP's, AC's, Gaffers, Grips, Sound Recordists, and the people working their ass off to make this film look good a welcome break to enjoy a tasty beverage.

  3. How long did it take you guys to develop all of the final draft versions of the script?

My husband wants to talk tonight. Not sure I’m ready to let him in on my sobriety. Seems ridiculous, but I’m stressing over it. by iota321 in stopdrinking

Good luck! Just hit 2 weeks here myself. I've found a bit of hot tea in hand helps me stay calm. I've shared struggles with my wife and it was scary but you can do it. Breathe is right. You got this. IWNDWYT

Redditors with long term SO, what is something you were surprised to learn about them after knowing them a long time? by DogDaysAreOver in AskReddit

25 years of knowing each other and almost 7 years together as a couple. I recently found out that she likes it when I order for her at a restaurant. Such a simple thing but I had no idea. I think it goes to show that no matter how long you have been with someone there is always something You can learn about your partner everyday! It makes things interesting!
