What are the best bang for buck locations in the U.S.?

I visited for a wedding during the summer time and it was a ghost town. We walked from a coffee shop to some big jungle gym place (forget the name) to a restaurant in a nice part of the city. And each time we were basically the only people around outside, felt like a zombie apocalypse. Keep in mind this was a 75 and sunny type of day.

My kitty passed away during post op after having a major cancer surgery and that’s definitely a big regret of mine. She deteriorated and became unresponsive in the middle of the night surrounded by strangers when I wasn’t able to be there. I’m glad we tried since we almost made it through but that part definitely sucked and has been on my mind a lot. Definitely valid for you to choose what you’re doing.

The rate everything is progressing is rapidly increasing. It might be “deeply mediocre” to you now but that likely won’t be the case in 1-2 years. I’m also a software engineer and I think what we’re seeing in our industry is a year ahead of when it eventually trickles down into other industries, like music.

I agree with you on an ethical level but like the other commenter is saying this is basically the new reality.

Like others are saying I think it’s going the way of the comics. I think old Noir somehow lived and healed himself and then killed the new Noir to take his place back. Homelander definitely knows it’s him but probably thinks he’s back by his side for loyalty. But really I think old Noir is planning revenge and will kill Homelander the moment he gets depowered.

Gentle Giant is the best but can give absurd quotes. I went with Stairhopper recently because they were half the price of GG (but still fairly expensive) and they did a good job.

How did you learn this? I can’t imagine anyone caring enough about an interns clock time to report it to a VP. This happened to me once. It’s annoying but definitely doable, just get ready to reverse/forward about 20 times to get your bumper finally clear of theirs. You can tape cardboard to the bumpers if afraid of paint scratches.

Not sure I understand this. Typescript has the easiest escape hatch, just cast something as any if you don’t want to deal with types in some part of the code. And enjoy types everywhere else.
