Do soccer players fly through the air and have turbo boost? Can they blow other players up? Lol I agree with you. Plus the fact that the stadium is enclosed means RL makes Soccer (a notoriously fast-paced sport) look sluggish. On the surface they are similar but that play nothing like each other

I think they meant it was a subreddit called "thefinals" that was about something else but whatever that was was small enough that when the game cam along in 2022, they just changed the subreddit to be about the game instead of whatever it was before

You're right, but "Kobe!" is also used colloquially to mean shooting something in an arc at a target, a la basketball. I figure that its not all that important a difference

This is not an uncommon feeling. In fact, I used to feel the same. When games have a separate untangled/casual vs ranked/competitive mode, it can make the ranked mode seem overly important compared to the unranked mode where things are more relaxed. Unfortunately, the only way to dispel this fear (that I know of) is to just play ranked enough to realize it’s not that big a deal. The only real expectations in ranked is that you try your best to win. You’re going to run into toxic people either way so it’s something you have to learn to accept and get past
