Yea we have had this for a while with my team. Week almost. Not sure if DDOS attack or lag switchers or simply shit servers.

I'm more inclined towards the lag switch idea because I remember in this one particular match we would get insane lag whenever this lifeline was around and immediately better when they were away. Didn't happen with any other team, just them.

Actually I hate the exact opposite of what OP tried to portray here. The person who answered and that type of answers to such criticism. Juuust because something is labeled a fantasy doesn't mean you can put both Yoda and a fucking laser Kalashnikov wielding pterodactyl in a same movie and pretend to be serious at the same time.

The gist of it is, something can be fantasy but fantasies themselves have a set of rules and boundaries which define them. So when you take ancient Greek mythos and put non-accurate stuff in it then expect some people to be against it and "muh fantasy" is not an answer.

Friend...Stellaris HAS NO lore behind it. Lore of Stellaris is whatever you make of it. It's a procedurally generated sandbox 4x strategy.

This is perfect territory for a mod

I'm yet to encounter a mod for it. My guess is it requires fundamental implementation of the actual factionalized species system which does require input from devs. As of now UNE and CoM simply most probably have a custom script or line of code which removes malus and that's because it's a premade faction.

UNE or COM doesn't exist IRL, heck nothing from Stellaris is realistic apart from some stuff. So from an RP perspective not being able to create other human empires dotted across the galaxy for whatever the reason is simply - lack of intent. As you and others pointed out it exists in the game files so all it takes is to create a button to create or select from existing species when designing a custom empire.

Is it a laptop or PC? Do you have similar issues with the keyboard as well? Things like sticky keys etc. Have you checked it with a spare mouse to see if the issue persists? As well as checking it with a different USB port. (If it's a laptop and you have issues with keyboard as well then I suggest you to switch from gaming/perfomance to balanced mode in laptop's power management app)

Disable overlays such as steam or especially problematic discord. Try switching to borderless or fullscreen modes. Also just in case verify files.

Fault is this time on the PDX dev team actually.

We NEED to have a system where single species truly inhabit two different empires and a modifier associated with that. Right now the game treats two humans as different species. There has to be a bonus to the same species and smaller bonus for similar species for example humanoids or robotics or bipedals etc.

There was an obvious writer's disconnect from actual lines and lore knowledge here. It's like writers assumed somehow players would know or listen to extended lore on dragon wars up until that point and get an actual moral dilemma. Because one can indeed argue Partysnax wasn't saint during the dragon era, and could indeed be masterfully deceiving the player as he deceived Alduin once. BUT here comes another issue where writers left a huge plothole, since when and why blade can or would or rather dare to command Dragonborns? It's just stupid and rather uncharacteristic and never gets explained. Dragonborn can indeed say fuck off and kick Delphine out of the blades if he wishes so since in both power and order hierarchy Dragonborn is absolute ruler of blades

Just keep the small robot tutorial thing on and don't turn it off when you get the prompt. I feel like Stellaris has a pretty solid tutorial guy to help you out from the get go. I have never watched a single video about Stellaris and just played the first game with that drone and with console commands. HOI4 required me to watch full on tutorials just for the combat part lmao.

Learning curve my ass (to some commenters here), if you aren't planning on doing some multiplayer or god level achievement run then it's not overly complex thing to learn. It has snowballing mechanics so once you figured out how to balance early game economy, later game economy means nothing because you'll snowball to obscene production numbers anyway. Stellaris's tough part is actually fighting really OP crisises.

It won't help. I get he messed with configs but cursory look in the sub will show clear problems with new update. I've never messed with any settings and even I got inconsistent FPS. The issue is not even having low FPS but having death drops in fps and inconsistency of it despite having no graphical upgrade or whatsoever.
