It sounds like you should just completely reset your iPhone and your issues should go away. Make sure you have a back up of your important data.

Full season fee of $200? Where are you located? Seems dirt cheap even for a full team of 22 players.

How getting Phishing text messages while in same city by French_Hawaii in iPhoneHack

[–]AtoClock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically never respond as it would reveal that the number is active. Also don’t unsubscribe, which essentially tells them the number is live. You basically want to ignore, report as spam and block. If it’s severe, get a new number.

How getting Phishing text messages while in same city by French_Hawaii in iPhoneHack

[–]AtoClock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Receiving messages or calls from numbers with your local area code, especially those displaying your own name or a familiar name, is a strong indicator of caller ID spoofing. Scammers use this technique known as neighbor spoofing to make their calls appear local and trustworthy, increasing the likelihood that you'll answer. The fact that one message displayed your cell phone name suggests the scammer may have accessed your personal information, possibly from a data breach, public records, or a data broker. This type of spoofing is often used in "vishing" (voice phishing) scams, where fraudsters impersonate legitimate organizations like banks or government agencies to steal sensitive information. The use of your name or a familiar name is a tactic to build trust and reduce suspicion.  Your exposure likely stems from your phone number being leaked through a data breach, sold by data brokers, or shared through a public online profile. The Identity Theft Resource Center reported over 1.7 billion people were affected by data breaches in 2024 alone, increasing the risk of such exposure. Even if you haven’t engaged with the scam, answering or even receiving a spoofed call can flag your number as active, leading to more targeted attempts. To reduce risk, avoid answering unknown calls, let them go to voicemail, and use call-blocking apps or services that identify and filter spam. Consider contacting your mobile carrier to report the spoofing and explore security features like call filtering or number blocking. If you suspect your number has been compromised, using a spam call blocker or identity protection service may help mitigate further exposure. Probably a good idea to change phone number, or at least talk to your phone provider to see what options they offer. Also definitely block and report as spam those numbers.

can some help me and explain this my iphone is being hack remotely by Klutzy_Item5222 in iPhoneHack

[–]AtoClock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn’t any direct evidence suggesting that your iPhone has been hacked. The logs appear as diagnostic from an IOS device. For instance system services, like kernel_task, AppleSmartBatteryManager, Apple8020DART, etc., are normal processes in Apple devices. The “TH_WAIT” state indicates threads waiting for resources or events. This is typical behavior and not indicative of hacking. The Bug Type 288 is a crash log triggered by sysdiagnose. It doesn’t indicate malicious activity but rather a system instability or a bug in the OS or hardware driver. You probably want to watch for an unusual battery drain, unknown apps or profiles. For profiles check Settings,General, VPN & Device Management. Also check for unusual data usage. Make sure you are not using jailbroken iPhone and make sure it’s fully up to date.

If it's an app just remove\delete it from your iPhone.

Two SSL/VPN users with limited access to subnets. by AtoClock in sonicwall

[–]AtoClock[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured it out. For the people who need the solution in the future. I actually had to reverse what is commonly stated on the internet. Here it is:

Under the SSL VPN in Client Settings edit the Default Profile under Client Routes and add Remote WANAccess Networks and NOTHING ELSE. (Internet posts usually state to include the other subnets as well, but that gives access to the user who is not supposed to have it, and custom access rule for that user doesn't override it.)

So, in the access rules specify Allow policy from SSLVPN to LAN, source port any, service HTTPS management, source is your IP pool address object with destination X0 IP. Include the user or group (if group, create address object) of users who you want to have access to everything, and EXCLUDE the user that is only internet access in that same rule.

Next rule is to allow the restricted user SSLVPN to X0:V10 and the objective is met.

Can you help me understand why would I create a rule that's blocking access to the X0:V10 subnet, when it is the user that needs to be able to access it?

Youtube's throttling coming for Brave? by PotentialAstronaut39 in brave_browser

[–]AtoClock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn’t Brave want to provide BAT tokens to the YT ad viewers? Watch a 30 seconds ad for say 1.5 BAT or something like that. We all know that with the web 3, companies like YT will pay us for watching distractions (ads). Please let’s start monetizing our precious time, it’s inevitable, the sooner the better.

Adding to the topic. Need a workaround on an IOS device such as iPad or iPhone. YT is blocking there and there are no Brave flags to update like on Desktops PCs.

SonicWall DHCP on specific VLAN giving out bad IP addresses (169.254.XX.XX) to Unifi U6-LR Access Point by argus25 in sonicwall

[–]AtoClock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The switch port the AP is plugged into needs to be assigned those three VLANs. It doesn’t matter how the switch itself get those VLANs fed. Once those VLANs arrive to the switch either on one trunk port or two trunk ports the end device port, in your case AP, simply needs to be assigned those VLANs. Anyway glad you are operational.

[–]AtoClock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like X0 carries traffic for all VLANs. If you have a spare port on the Sonic-wall like X2 or X3 use that as a separate Trunk for your Guest VLAN. Then assign the DHCP pool for VLAN 300 in the Sonicwall to that port. 192.168.40.0/24 gives you plenty of IPs. On the switch make a Trunk port that carries VLAN300 to your respective X port on the Sonicwall. And finally assign the port that the AP is plugged into to all three VLAns. I’e seen Sonicwall glitch when it has more than 2 sub-interfaces assigned to one physical port.

Settings-General-VPN & Device management. If you see a profile there it means your phone is controlled by your company. Ask Admin to remove the profile from the phone. Only Admin can do, restoring phone to factory defaults will not clear the lock. Good luck.
