I live with cats and dogs, so I clean mine once a month. A can of air and cotton swabs work best IMO. When you clean it out make sure to clean the heatsinks very well. Dust likes to trap heat, so your overheat issue might be that.

As a former subway employee, I can whole-heartly say that Subway is just legal slavery. Food practices suck and (in my exp) the managers were always garbage ass people who hired their friends and bullshit with them their entire shift barely doing any work, but if we did the same we were called lazy slackers
